DADA Lesson 1 (ALL YEARS)

[Lucia Henley]

Lucia had just been in town for a reading on the new virus and had occupied long enough for the class to be a bit late. Many of the students had surely already left to take their period off when she didn't get there in time. But no matter, the class hadn't been cancelled, so it would be the students' fault that they missed the class, if they did.

According to the list in front of her, she saw that all of the students taking her class were in their fifth, sixth or seventh year, so she had decided to mash up the first lesson of the year together, just to get it started. For this, she decided to teach them all the same spell, namely a spell she had made herself.

The spell was a good one, something Lucia felt the students would need. It was called 'Specialis Revelio' and knew the students would use it sometime. She smiled and leaned back, waiting for the class to assemble.

Haley walked into the DADA class, thinking she was way too late. She had fallen asleep, being completely exhausted from auror training and similar things. She had been up and jogging early that morning and felt as though she could fall into a deep sleep at any given time.

But when she walked into the class, she noticed that professor Henley was the only one there. She couldn't believe her luck, though that might not mean that she would avoid point deduction. She sighed unremarked and sat down in the front, smiling slightly.

[Thorn Winters]

Thorn was on his way from the abandoned tower to the common room when he saw that the door to the previously shut DADA room was open. He blinked and walked over, seeing the professor and another student sitting there. He blessed his luck and walked up to the front, sitting down next to the other student and looking up at the professor.

"Professor Henley, right? Did you just arrive? I was here earlier, but you never showed," he said softly. Upon the reply he recieved he smiled and turned to the other student.

"Hey, I'm Thorn," he said kindly, providing a hand the girl could shake.

[Humphrey Williams]

Humphrey decided after he had grabbed a snack from his room that he should probably go and check the DADA room again, just in case. Earlier when he had checked in the door was shut and nobody was in from what he could tell, which was odd considering it was their first lesson of the year because usually Professor Henley was ready and waiting for them. This time the door was open and he saw people inside.

Walking in, he took a seat next to Haley at the front of the class. "Morning professor, sorry I'm late. When I checked earlier it was empty." he explained. There was a new student, and he looked to be about his age if he had to guess. He decided to give him a small wave before settling into his seat to wait for class to start.

[Airen Auditoren]

Airen entered the DADA classroom. He'd been feeling a little bit nostalgic ever since first starting the year. He expected it to only increase until he graduated. He took his time in getting to class as he was bait early. He reflected on his years at Hogwarts. It truly had become a second home to him. He would miss all the teachers and all the people he attended his classes with.

"Good morning, professor," he said kindly. He smiled to himself as he realized how often he used that phrase. He may have to be a bit more friendly with the professors. After all, they'd had the chance to know him.

"Hello Professor,"Melody said as she walked in.She spotted Haley,Humphrey and Airen and said hello to them as well.She sat down.
