First Year: Lesson Three
Muggle Studies, she was beginning to see saw that more students were lest enthusiastic than anything. It kind of disappointed her that students either were Muggleborns wanting to take an easy class, or Purebloods that were either forced to take the class. There was only but a handful of people that even tried.
At least it's fuller than the second year she thought.
With that, she wrote on the board, the lesson of the day.
Education

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Walking into the classroom he inwardly groaned that not only did he have to deal with girls and more than that Gryffindor girls alone. He was a very shy person, and so he lowered his head and walked towards his usual place.
He noticed the word "Education" and wondered how it was relevant to Muggles.

Kasey made his way into the room, bringing the book down from his face to find a seat. He rolled his eyes a bit, seeing that it was filling up, he wasn't looking forward to sitting around a bunch of annoying girls. He did see another boy in the class that he'd seen before and decided to take one of the chairs near him, bit not next to him because he remember that slytherins usually came in pairs.
He slung his bag over the back of the chair, opening his book and going back to reading his new book silently from where he left off.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Damien slowly made his way to Muggles studies. It wasn't that he didn't want to take the class, he just knew nothing about muggles other than they were beneath him or so he was taught.
Making his way into class he saw Luke and Kasey the only other two boys in the class. Damien was gona sit by Tessa but she was still not talking to him after what happened in the Room of requirement. Not that she knew he was there or not.
Damien decided to make his way over to where Luke was sitting. At least another Slytherin and that's what he cared about at this point.
Sitting down by Luke he glaced over at him with a nod of his head, he glanced up at the board and noticed it said education.
"Education like this sucks." Damien mumbled under his breathe.

Xander trudged into class. It's not that he didn't like learning about muggles. He just hated not knowing much about them to begin with. He didn't like feeling clueless.
He smirked when he noticed a gender divide in the class, but went along with it. He took the spot on the other side of Luke, nodding to Damien and Kasey. At least he could get along with the boys in the class if nothing else.

Anne noticed the gender divide, and rolled her eyes. people were so immature some time, given that Tessa wasn't talking to her she picked up her books and moved beside Kasey, smiling at him, though she doubt he noticed given that he had his nose in a book.
She smiled at the slytherins, and prayed the didn't annoy her. She didn't mind Damien but she knew nothing about the other two. She was still mad about her scar, but the people in this class shouldn't care. so she waited for the teacher after rolling up her sleeves it was hot. Now the word mudblood showed clearly on her arm.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Damien had been tapping his fingers against the desk waiting for class to start. He noticed first that Xander walked into the room, then next it was Anne. He gave her a smirk and watched as she walked over to the table behind him and sat next to Kasey.
When Anne sat down he noticed that she rolled up her sleeves of her shirt. He found this odd that she would do that because he still had not gotten that potion from Master Prewett yet. Even though he did receive the owl stating he was going to work on it but it would take a couple of week to enhance the cream he already had.
Damien noticed that the words were appearing brighter so he reached into his pocket and pulled out the cream and tossed it back at her. "Next time tell me sooner" Damien mouthed at Anne.

Anne caught the cream, and rubbed it on her arm. She could still see it but it was better.
"thanks" she mouthed back. She then started to tap her desk and tried to figure out why Tessa hated her.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Kasey noticed the others come into the room, as well as when that gryffindor girl he couldn't recall the name of sat next to him. He flipped the page in his book, continuing to read, pretending not to see what was going around him.
He had noticed Anne roll up her sleeves and glancing quickly, he saw the mark on her arm. He cleared his throat, to hide his surprise, hoping for moment she had not done that to herself. But after thinking a moment as a slytherin had passed her something he come to the conclusion that there was no way she could have.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Seeing that most students were there, she felt compelled to begin the lesson. She had grown a bit frustrated with certain students and their lack of care towards the subject, but nonetheless she felt it necessary for them to learn.
"Today students we will be leaning about the Muggle Education system. In the Muggle Education system, a child begins their education at the age of five or six and begin the same forms of education a wizarding child gets at home, except in an institution. They learn varying subjects different from ours, can anyone guess things that they learn?" she asked.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Eva put up her hand knowing the answer. She was almost bouncing in her seat. She loved muggles. She wanted to learn everything about them given she had a muggle illness
"Muggle children learn things such as Math, science, history, geography, spelling, grammar and other skills to help them in later life." She said excitedly. She loved this class.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Xander inwardly groaned when Anne took the time to move over to sit next to Kasey. He didn't know why, but she rubbed him the wrong way. Something about her made him tense up and feel on guard.
It didn't help that she blatantly revealed whatever that thing was on her arm. Xander didn't really give a rat's butt about where it came from. She obviously had her own issues, but it was like she was asking for attention by showing it off.
He sighed and tried to focus on the lesson.

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Anne relized she was makeing people uncomfortable and quickly covered her scar. She could feel the slytherin in front of her was tence because of her. She disliked when people didn't like her.
She sighed and focesed on the lesson whe the teacher asked a question about what muggle children learned she put up her hand
"Muggle children also learn about media, heath, computers, , and their scoity," She siad adding on to what Eva had said.

Angel smiled softly at Miss Jordan. She seemed very excited and that she found great. And while she noticed the words on Miss Jones, her emotions were divided. She frowned at the fact that the poor girl had those words, but she found it a bit disrespectful that she had rolled her sleeves to show that word 'Mudblood'. Those words were detrimental in the class, especially in a class of purebloods.
I probably need to speak about it later it's causing some chatter amongst the class
She had noticed some students taking interest in the word and she would rather not have to deal with the topic at hand. It made her remember many times how that was seen as almost normal in some magical societies.
"Very good Miss Jordan, five points" she said softly. "Good job girls"
Waving her hand, a bunch of Muggle books began to float so that they would show the subjects that Miss Jordan had said.
"Can anyone tell me the muggle education system?"

Re: First Year: Lesson Three
Luke raised his hand hearing her question. He had read a lot about this from the books that he had found interesting. Once he was chosen, he spoke out:
"It depends on what country you come from. In Muggle America, you have preschool, elementary school, Middle School, High school and college/university. In Muggle England, the education system is divided into nursery (ages 3–4), primary education (ages 4–11), secondary education (ages 11–18) and tertiary education (ages 18+)."
He knew he had it right, but he answered about America first thinking about Victoria.
