Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Lesson Three - Second Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Tue Mar 13, 2012 10:28 pm

Cobalt wandered around his classroom, whistling a tune he'd picked up from somewhere as he flipped his wand around with his right hand, always catching it by the tips of his fingers as he waited for his class to arrive so that they could begin the day's lesson.

Haley walked into the infiltration classroom, gave a nod to the professor, and then sat down in the front, waiting for the other students so the class could begin.

Airen walked into the classroom. He noticed that he was the second student to arrive. He nodded at Haley as he took his seat at the front.

"Hello, Professor," he said in greeting to the mobile Professor Smith. He idly wondered what the lesson was.

Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Second Years

Charlotte smiled happily as she went into the classroom where her father taught, she was wondering what he would teach them today and hoped that it would be something interesting and not something that they had already learnt, or that she already knew.

Opening the door and sitting in her ususual seat Charlotte greeted everyone with a small grin and got out her things ready for the lesson ahead.

Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Second Years

Victoria hurried to class, not wanting to be late. Especially for this class.

She grabbed a seat near the middle of the class. She wanted to be close to the action, but not in front. This class still intimidated her a little bit. She never felt that she really knew the right answers.

Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Second Years

Cobalt was still flipping his wand around carelessly. Some people would see it as some kind of a threat, considering a wand was a weapon in the hands of a skilled wizard, but it was just reflect for Cobalt. Of course he'd been known to do the same thing with knives. He turned to the class and smiled at them,

"Today's lesson is about a key method of infiltration." he smiled at them all individually, "Distraction. Very useful for infiltration. For example... I am a distraction."

The Cobalt who had been playing with the wand disappeared as if he had never existed at all. Because he had never existed in the first place. The real Cobalt tapped Charlotte lightly on the shoulder from behind with a mischeivous smile,

"I'm the execution of the plan." he gave Charlotte a fatherly kiss on the cheek before moving to the front of the class, "Ten house points if you can give me a valid distraction for the following scenario. It's a house. Mansion is more like it. It has two guards stationed at every entrance. There is a stable filled with hay about 400 yards from the front of the house. A forest 600 yards to the back. It is night time and the sky is clear."

Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Second Years

Haley thought of a reply to the question and raised her hand.

"I would set fire to the hay," she said, "Because hay burns quickly. And it would be serious, due to the fact that hay holds a lot of necessary vitamins and minerals for horses. And this would most likely draw all of the men, though, to make sure that everyone was gone, I would make a replica, just like you did now, and I'd scream from over by the forest. Because I'm a girl. Men reacts to girls screaming, and therefore, the last ones would leave. If one or two stayed behind, I'd zap them and then hide their bodies and then do my mission in the mansion," Haley said calmly.

She wasn't sure if that was the reply professor Smith was looking for, but she would have done it that way, with or without risks.

Lesson Three - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Second Years

Airen flinched when Professor Smith appeared behind the desk he and Charlotte had been sharing. He breathed deeply and calmed himself down. He listened to the scenario. He thought of how to use the environment. He could just not use the barn, or even the forest.

"There are many ways to go about it, sir," he began. "If you could have a highly-trained team with you, you could have them infiltrate the house and purposefully set off the alarms. When the guards rush to respond, simply walk in the front door, complete the mission, and get your team out of there. As you rush toward the forest, trigger remote controlled guns hidden inside the barn. Have one of your team 'accidentally' reveal your plan by saying that you and the team made a great distraction. The guards go for the fakes while you and the team escape through the forest," he finished.

He was surprised at how Slytherin-like he sounded. There wasn't anything wrong with it, he was just surprised.
