Lesson Three Empty Lesson Three

Post by Viktoria Steinburg Wed Mar 14, 2012 4:05 am

Vikki had not been 'with it' for the last lesson that she had and she was a little bit annoyed by herself for being that way, even if she didn't really like flying that was what she was stuck teaching whether she liked it or not, there wasn't any other positions open now apart from Soothsaying and that was even worse.

Sitting down on the grass, a picnic mat spread out over the grass, Vikki sipped a cup of tea and waited for the students to turn up, deeply sorry that she had been too busy wondering about footwear for animals to teach them last lesson.

Terry had been very bad with things and had not attended his lesson yet he forgot he had signed up for the class so he took off running towards the field. Once arriving to the field he saw the instructor was already there sitting on the field so Terry ran up and sat down by her and waited to see if anyone else had arrive.

"Hello professor."

Agne walked to the quidditch field her head held low. She looked up and spotted Yeva and tried to duck past her feeling guilty about losing her cat.

Viktoria looked up from gazing into her teacup with a small smile on her lips, at least she had managed to bring herself out of her daze to teach the lesson today, wondering why people were concerned about being late, Viktoria took brooms off the rack and handed them out to each of the students, there seemed to be a fair few of them there.

"Greetings class, I am Vikki and I will be your flying instructor for this year." smiling lightly she gestured to the brooms "Who has flown a broom before? Because if you have then you will be going and doing a few races with Mr. Charlienco."

Placing her teacup back on the mat, she continued her almost dreamy smile:

"Those of you who haven't you are going to be learning how to properly mount and dismount your broom today so we can get to the actual flying next lesson, while we are doing this, does anyone have any suggestions for how to behave while flying."

Vikki turned to Terrence and pointed to the pitch; "While I sort the first years out will you do 5 laps of the Quidditch pitch so you're back in the 'zone'?"

Alexandra raised her hand.
" I've flown a couple of times before Professor, and you have to behave calmly while flying your broom Ma'am." Alexandra said while looking at the professor.

Alexandra was a bit nervous but she took a deep breath and calmed down, she sighed and hoped she got the answer right.

Vikki smiled lightly at the girl who answered, it was a very good answer and she decided that she would like to give her some housepoints for trying, with a small grin she nodded her head in response to her.

"Well done that is right! Could you please have at least one more answer, all of you, before we begin the next lesson? We will review them at the starts and then begin properly to start to fly."

Gesturing for the brooms to fly bavk onto their shelves Vikki grinned:

"10 points to Geschick for your answer!" she said cheerfully "Class dismissed."
