Post by Sofia Slytherin Wed Mar 14, 2012 8:12 am

Sofia took her spot on the floor as usual and began her deep breathing exercises while she waited for the rest of the students to arrive.

She had been thinking about what they needed to learn this week and she hadn't decided yet. She usually with this class things the class should decide that. Its a beautiful day outside and lots of things to learn.

Sofia sat on her mat and waited for the class to arrive.

Second Years- Third Lesson Empty Re: Second Years- Third Lesson

Haley grinned as she saw professor Slytherin on the mat. She walked over and sat down on another one, crossing her legs, giving a nod to the professor. She closed her eyes and immediately let her thoughts drift away, feeling lighter than she had in ages.

Second Years- Third Lesson Empty Re: Second Years- Third Lesson

Agatha walked in quietly. She began reading her book as meditating seemed to make her extremely restless. She could relax with a good book or something interesting to do, standing still like that just seemed so... frustrating.

"Morning" She spoke quietly and chose a place to seat.

Second Years- Third Lesson Empty Re: Second Years- Third Lesson

Victoria slowly walked into the class. She had never taken this class before and thought it would be interesting, but definitely challenging.

She saw a couple students there already, doing different things. Not really sure what to do, and not wanting to interrupt the professor in whatever she was doing, she just stood off to the side and waited.

Second Years- Third Lesson Empty Re: Second Years- Third Lesson

Sofia looked around the room at the few students that she had decided that this was the best time to start the class. Looking around she saw everyone was kind of doing their own thing.

"Let us all gather around her on the mats", said Sofia

"Now in your readings we discover there are many different ways of divination. Can some one please give me an example of reading someone's future?"

Haley raised her hand and gave a smile. "Through seeing into crystal bulbs? Or is it called Orbs? Or Palentirs? I keep forgetting, sorry," Haley said with an innocent face, scratching the back of her head.

"tea leaves" She whispered to herself. not really wanting to draw attention. She moved to sit next to Haley in one of the mats and smiled at her fellow Hufflepuff.

Second Years- Third Lesson Empty Re: Second Years- Third Lesson

Victoria jumped at the opportunity. She had been worried about taking a new class, so had read a lot in the text book over the weekend.

She quickly raised her hand. "There are also Tarot cards, interpreting dreams, and palm reading!" She was looking forward to how these methods would work.

Sofia was very proud of the girls they were really into this class. "Well done dear. 10 points each. and Ms. Smith its called Crystal Ball."

Noticing that time was up she decided on this weeks homework.

"What I want you to do is come up with a idea on which one of these choices you like and way and then we will discuss it during the next class."

"Class dismissed"

Haley smiled to Agatha as she mentioned tea leaves. Haley liked tea leaves. She then gave an innocent smile to the professor and made a mental memo to remember that it was called Crystal Ball. She noted down the homework and grabbed her bag, waiting for the rest of the class, so they could walk together to lunch.
