Lesson 4 - Fun With Horses - FIRST Year

Jaqui had the winged horses lined up in front of her. She smiled at them each and waited for the students to arrive so she could give them the instructions for this lesson - have fun.

Tessa had walked down to where the class way. Yasmina then laid down beside of her. While Tessa was waiting for class to start. She was excited because this was one of her favorite classes. And this was on that she was going to take next year. She smiled as she waited for Damien to show up.

Damien rushed down to COMC because he thought he was running late, he got held up by some 5th year asking him some stupid questions that he either didn't feel like answering or didn't know the answer too. Running into COMC he noticed that the only person from class was Tessa, and a bunch of horses.

Walking up to Tessa he put his arms around him and pulled her too him. "Morning beautiful, how are you doing today." he asked as he kissed the top of her head.

Damien showed her this type of affection mostly cause there was no one but the teacher.

Tessa smiled when she could tell that Damien was there. “ Did you see, there is horses.” She was grinding cause she was excited. There wasn’t' anybody else in the class just yet.

She smiled as he kissed the top of her head. “ Morning and I am doing alright. I just don't want summer to come.”

Xander walked down to class and was not surprised to see Damien and Tess absorbed in their own world.

He gave them space and walked closer to the horses. He had flown one before at his grandparents house, but didn't want to just walk up to them. He knew better than to assume they would take to him immediately.

Anne walked to COMC and looked at the horses. She really liked them. She wished she could go for a ride. she handed in her paper from last class and moved toward the horses.

"Hi." She said to Xander. She knew he didn't like her but she still thought he could talk to her. "I'm Anne. How are you?" She asked shyly.

Teresa quickly ran to class. She hope she was not late. When she got there, she saw a couple acting lovely dovely, kind of.
Then, she saw horses. With wings!

"Woah!" she said, walking to the horses. She petted one of them gently. She absolutely loves animals, especially those who can fly. It rubbed its face against her hand. "Hello, there, beautiful. I'm Teresa King. Nice to meet you."

Teresa giggled as she kept petting it.

Xander made an effort to look casual. He mentally chidded himself. He didn't know the Gryffindor personally. He knew he shouldn't jump to conclusions about her, or any of them. It didn't help, though, that his whole family was the usual bunch of pure bloods. But he'd gotten to know Victoria through Tess and she wasn't so bad.

"Hi. I'm bored. How 'bout you?"

It was honest. He really couldn't wait for the year to be over.

Anne was surprised that Xander talked to her. He hadn't expected him too. She really didn't know too much about purebloods. She had only had encounters with two. Damien and Hugo. Those interactions were very different. Damien was kind to her and treated her like she was a human like him. Hugo had tortured her and treated her worse than filth.

"I'm good, well better than I was last class anyway." She replied.

Anne could feel that it was summer. She rolled up her sleeves. She didn't care what people thought of her mudblood scar. they had to get use to it, it wasn't going anywhere.

Knowing that it bugged Xander she muttered. "Sorry if it bothers you, but it's really warm out here."

Jaycie trotted down to class, and grinned when she saw the horses. They were amazing. Mmm, I wonder if Professor Girard will let us ride them, she thought. She loved horses, especially when she saw them on the moors.

She saw Anne talking to Xander and nervously made her way over to them. "Hi Anne," she said shyly, and then smiled kindly at Xander. She didn't know him at all and didn't know what he was really like. She'd met Anne before and felt they were friends, so she decided to stay with her. Anne was lovely.
