Seeing her nod so frantically in agreement, Richard knew that there was more than just concern in his apprentice. He wasn't an expert at reading body language, like Cobalt was, but he could tell enough to know that she was feeling something else, something he couldn't put his finger on,

"Ah well bribary works very well as a source of motivation!" he chuckled a little bit, "Tell you what... if he's really stubborn we can buy him some of his favourite sweets or chocolates or something yeah?"

He could see that the way he referenced his own training saddened Senium so he cupped her cheek gently with his hand and knelt down to eye level with her, smiling as he did so,

"Everything has a brightside. Even my own training." he smiled at her, "Of course! I'd hate to have an angry grandfather wanting to kill me... and you're just too darn cute to even think about hurting!"

Senium giggled slightly and she wondered what was going to happen when her Grandpapa came out, she hoped that he would like Richard but there was no guarantee especially since the man in question was now German, and Grandpapa did not like German people at all.

"Uhm...I don't think that it's a good idea for you to meet Grandpapa...uhm, he doesn't really like German people, and he'll be in a really bad mood already." she said with a small shameful look, as if apologising for the way that her Grandpapa thought.

Leaning her head into Richard's hand, Senium smiled a little wider when he said that his training wasn't all bad, and she hoped that it wasn't, placing her own hand on his cheek without much difficulty, Senium smiledeven wider and blushed when he called her cute;

"You think I'm cute? Thank you!" she said happily.

Richard smiled again when she giggled, the sound of her giggling was something that Richard rather enjoyed and liked to make her do. When she mentioned that it might be a bad idea to meet her grandfather because of his nationality, Richard winced a little bit. As far as he was concerned he was British now. It always hurt when others couldn't see him as anything other than German,

"Ah... well maybe it is for the best that I don't meet him." he replied with a sad smile, "I don't want to make his day any worse than it already has been due to visiting hospital."

The little lie about his training not being all bad, as far as he could remember it was a lie, was something that Richard told masterfully for the purpose of making her happier. He grinned when she blushed at being called cute,

"You're damn right you're cute!" he grinned and ruffled her hair again, "A special little girl who also happens to be very cute!"

Senium could see that Richard was sad by what she had said and she blinked slightly and hung her head again, she didn't like making him sad, or him being sad around her, she didn't like anyone being sad around her, no matter who they might be. It just hurt even more that it was her Master.

"I'm so sorry, there's just...a lot of things that they've done wrong in his eyes, I know you're not on their side...but he's old he wont think like that." she said sadly "I'm sorry."

Unable to stop her blush getting even worse, Senium bit her lip and blushed wildly, it was something she had never been told before, it was a compliment that if she had been seen in her actual form, would never have been given to her at all.

"I'm special?" she asked, with wide twinkling eyes "You're the best Richard!" she said cheerfully.

Richard smiled sadly at his apprentice and ruffled her hair. She was right. He was definately not on the side of the Germans, not even for a second. But it hurt that the people he'd betrayed his countrymen for thought so little of him. He shrugged a little bit,

"It's alright Seni." he told her with another sad smile, "I'm used to it. Happens all the time... no need to appologise or anything."

The way that her blush grew even worse made Richard smiled again though. It was rather amusing to see her turn bright red from the simplest of compliments. Looking into her wide and swinkling eyes, he grinned,

"You're as cute as a button!" he grinned, "And you're so very special. So very upbeat and caring."

Senium smiled lightly and she was about to talk to Richard but before she could there was a click and the door unlocked, the doctor appeared and told her that her Grandpapa was ready to go but he wanted to get a special apparation pass, so he could go right now.

Pouting lightly, Senium turned to Richard and kissed him softly on the cheek before moving up out of the chair and looking around the ward before turning back to Richard;

"I have to go home now, but I hope that we could meet again soon." she said cheerfully, waving to the man before she walked to the office door, and with a 'pop' apparated with her Grandpapa home.

Richard heard the door click open and prepared to leave, now acutely aware that his apprentice's grandfather was approaching and he would not look too kindly on Richard. He chuckled a little bit when she kissed his cheek and ruffled her hair in return as he took a step away,

"Alright then Seni, I'll see you again soon." he waved to her as she left before disappearing from the hospital himself.
