Character Background: Dahlia Barnette, born in Newcastle, but grew up in Surrey, was raised by her succesful, pureblood parents. Her relationship with her parents isn't very good, but her brother was always there for her from the day she was born. Dahlia is never afraid to say that she loves her brother more than her parents. In fact, she reminds them everyday. Her parents once did love Dahlia more than anything in the world. Before Dahlia's 5th birthday, she asked to be an Animagus as a birthday present. As soon as her parents heard this, they were disgusted. Her parents hated animals and thought they were foul beasts. They were very dissapointed that their daughter wanted to be able to become one. But Dahlia never changed her mind about it. Dahlia's brother secretly loves animals just as much as Dahlia does. Her parents are so proud of their son, but little do they know that he had studied hard to become one, and succeeded, and is also helping Dahlia learn how to become one as well. Although Dahlia is a rather stuck up little brat, she has a pure heart and when she has close friends, she never lets anyone hurt them.
