Lesson One - Third Years Empty Lesson One - Third Years

Post by Richard Romain Tue Apr 17, 2012 1:22 am

Richard whistled a little bit as he wandered around his classroom, idly walking as he waited for his students to arrive. A little bit bored, Richard moved over to his desk and sat on it, facing the desks where the students would sit. He took a large number of pencils from a drawer in his desk and waited, lining them up side by side in perfect order on his desk as he waited.

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Tue Apr 17, 2012 1:25 am

Haley walked into the Transfiguration classroom with a smile on her face. She'd missed this class. She sat down by a desk in the front and gave a smile to professor Romain. She then took out her books and her wand, waiting patiently for the class to start.

Charlotte hurried into the classroom and she smiled at the Proffessor, it had been a while since she had seen them all after all, and some of them hadnt even come to the ball, like Professor Henley, and she wondered why for a moment, although she quickly banished it from her mind.

Walking over to her usual seat, Charlotte sat down and she got out all of the things that she needed for the lesson today, hoping it would be fun sending a large smile at her Uncle, knowing that things would be coming along with the baby now.

Entering the classroom she missed Tess smiled at the Professor as she saw him trying to entertain himself before class. He was in a good mood it seemed. After all he was not sleeping or doing something quirky, at least not like before.
Siting down she sat beside Haley and saved a seat for Victoria. She murmured a hello to Haley as she got her things out. And waited patiently.

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

While Parker knew he struggled in transfiguration, he knew he'd just need to keep up practice in order to get better. With Haley's help and the little meditation tips from Prof. Slytherin, he found he was getting a little bit better. But he hoped that the class wouldn't be getting to advanced to fast for the pace he was on.

He walked into the class room, spotting Haley right away. He took his seat by her and took his wand out of his bag. He make a mental note that by his third year he really should be more used to carrying his wand around with him in case something bad happened. He gave a small smile to her, "Hey Haley."

Airen walked into the classroom. He felt somewhat sleepy from the ball, but it was worth it. He sent a smile Charlotte's way and sat down next to her. He smiled brightly at her.

Taking out his things, he set his wand on his desk. He sent a smile to the professor. Putting his hand to his mouth, he yawned almost inaudibly. He shook his head lightly to try to rid himself of the sleepiness.

"Good morning, Professor," he greeted.

Smiling at Charlotte, Richard looked out over his class for a few seconds with a smile before picking up one of the pencils. He concentrated and, without any wand work, the pencil changed into a throwing knife. He held it as he had the pencil, with an air of complete ease,

"Today we're going to have a little quiz..." he told her students with a grin, "When I have asked the question I will throw a throwing knife at you. Don't worry, it will change before it hits your face. If you are correct it will turn into a marshmellow and you are free to eat it. If you are wrong it will turn into a banana cream pie."

He looked around the room,

"Mr Auditoren! What is the first element on the periodic table of elements?" he demanded as he threw the knife, "Go!"

Airen listened intently to the professor. He looked up from taking notes to see the knife zipping through the air right to him. He remembered the question and calmed himself down.

"Hydrogen," he said clearly.

Lesson One - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Third Years

Post by Victoria Rossmund Thu Apr 19, 2012 3:20 pm

Victoria exhaled one last time before getting it over with and walking into the classroom. She didn't try to hide anymore when late for a class. "Sorry, Professor," she said.

She took the open seat next to Tess and looked around. Airen looked a little stunned and there seemed to be a marshmallow on his desk. Hmm...

She quickly took out her class materials and smiled over at Tess, waiting to catch up with the rest of the class.

The knife turned into a marshmellow, which was lightly covered in powdered sugar. It bounced off Airen's nose onto the desk, leaving a small mark of sugar on his nose,

"Correct. Hydrogen." he looked around the class as he picked up the next throwing knife. He grinned evilly at Victoria, "For being late Miss Rossmund... what is the elemental composition of air?"

He threw the knife at her.

Tabi slid into the back of transfiguration class and found that the professor was already engaging the class. She was a little freaked out with the knife throwing but then she was not sure what was going on.

She sat in the back of the room hoping beyond hope she wasn't seen coming in late.

Victoria was glad for once that she had gone to public school back in America. She had rather enjoyed science class and had really excelled at it. Quickly visualizing the elemental table she replied, "Oxygen," before looking up at the Professor.

She let out a gas as she finally saw the knife being thrown at her and an image passed before her eyes before she was hit right between them with a marshmallow. Picking it up she looked to the professor, understanding it was for being late. She could accept that.

She made a mental note to talk to Tess later about her last thought before the marshmallow.
