Lesson 1 Third Years

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia was glad for the start of the new year and she had hoped that it would be a little more interesting than last year. She was also hoping she might have more students this year.

Sofia had worked all summer working on new lessons plans hoping to have herself a little less stress. Some of the students might get a refresher course on something but that will be ok.

She went around and on all the desks by the chairs she placed a Syllabus on them.

Week 1- What is a Planet
Week 2- Mercury
Week 3- Venus
Week 3- Earth

She then sat back down in her chair leaned back staring at the sky closing her eyes for a little mediation.

Haley walked up the familiar way to Astronomy and walked into the classroom. "Good evening professor Slytherin," she said happily and walked to take a seat in the usual spot under the stars.

She looked at the syllabus and smiled. Venus was on it. She looked forward to learning about her. She then started thinking about what a planet was. A substance put together of small meteors? She honestly didn't know. She started looking through her book to find an answer to the question.

[Sofia Slytherin]

"Thank you for attending class Ms. Smith, next time we will have a discussion. I just waited too long for other students." Sofia sighed


"15 points though Ms. Smith for at least showing interest in the class. Your dismissed."

Sofia really wished more students were interested in her class.

Haley felt a bit sad that no one else had entered the class. She gave a smile to professor Sofia. "Just so you know, I think your classes are my favorites," she said honestly, not meaning to suck up to her or anything; it was simply the truth.

She gave a wave and left the classroom with a smile.
