Lesson 1 Third Years Empty Lesson 1 Third Years

Post by Guest Tue Apr 17, 2012 12:25 pm

Angelus was glad that school was beginning because he needed something to do with his spare time. It will also keep his mind off of what happened over the summer. He had a very busy summer and had met a beautiful woman and almost lost her in the same breathe. He hoped that he could prove to Dani that he was a changed man.

He had worked a lot over the summer on his lesson plans and had many things to redo. He wanted to be a little more organized. Walking around the classroom he placed a Syllabus on everyone's desk.

Week 1- History of Hogwarts
Week 2- Hogwarts Ghosts
Week 3- Room of Requirements
Week 4- Chamber of Secrets

Angelus went back and sat at his desk and waited for the students to arrive.

Lesson 1 Third Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 Third Years

Victoria was excited for class to start up. Since she was muggle born, she found history class more interesting than some students probably did.

Surprised to be the first one there, she smiled at the professor and took a seat at the front. Looking down at the syllabus she was happy she'd brought her copy of Hogwarts: A History. She'd been going over it to see if she could find information about magical creatures on the grounds.

Victoria looked up from the syllabus and smiled. She rarely had one-on-one time with a professor. It was kind of interesting and scary all rolled into one.

"Only bits a pieces, Professor. I've used it more as a referance book since we haven't needed it for class, but it's really interesting."

She looked around, wondering if her classmates had just decided to quit this class. She tried to recall if she was the only muggle-born in her year. Maybe the pure or half bloods already knew so much about their own world?

Angelus smiled at Ms. Rossmund "So is there anything that stuck out in your mind with the book, ot maybe you might have a question?"

Angelus love the book and wished he could come up with a spell to enable the book to always update.

Victoria was surprised that she actually did have questions that she would like answered. "I do, actually. I understand why the founders wouldn't want wizards and witches to be able to Apparate into the school, for security reasons, but why prevent them from Disapparating?"

She figured if a student decided to leave the grounds by that route they would be in sore luck trying to get back.

Angelus had thought about the same question when he was her age and then after working around the world he realized why it would not be a good idea.

"This is the way I look at it Ms. Rossmund, What if someone was brought into the school by someone, or tricked their way in. If they could disapparate how would we have a chance of catching them?"

Angelus never truly verified his answer but it seemed logical to him.

"Why don't you think about my answer and then we could discuss you thoughts during the next class." Angelus smiled

"I am also going to award you 30 points, for your attendance and participation. Your dismissed."

Angelus watched her leave and went back to his desk to wait for the next class. He had been spending a lot of time lastly thinking about Dani, and how he missed her while he was at school.
