Lesson Two - Third Years

Raven walked into her classroom, she had not bene impressed when she had returned to the Irrenhaus Verlassen a few nights ago to see that it had been disturbed by somebody, she didn't know who that somebody might be, but she had a very good idea that they had let one of the experiments loose and were now probably dead or dying somewhere.

On the other hand, something very good had happened to her, and she was sure that it would mean more time she could spend to herself, rather than having to deal with annoying fools and going on too many contracts herself.

Opening the door to her classroom and placing Steve as the doorstop again she was sure that she was in for a mixed lesson today, she just hoped that everyone managed to turn up. It wasn't much to ask.

Keaira walked into the classroom and smiled wickedly at her mother. "Good day, mother, how are you today?" she asked in a pretty cruel tone to everyone else but Luca and the Sweeney herself.

She then took a seat in the front, waiting for the rest of the class to show. She was impatient to start this lesson. Last one hadn't gone so well after all. This one would be better.

Terry made his way down to potions class, it was one of his favorite classes. Granted most people think the Lehrer is a little crazy but he was not bother at all by her. He could not explain it, Whether or not it was because he was seeing her daughter he could not say.

Terry did know he had not been spending as much time with Keaira that he would have like, but that was the kind of relationship that they had.

Walking into the class he saw the said person on his mind so he went up to set next to her, it seemed she was in one of those moods so he decided he would just sit there and wait for her.

Melissa didn't want to be late to potions so she made sure to rush to class not to be late. Running into class she slowed down when she realized it had not started yet.

Walking in she saw Terry and Keaira were already there so she took a seat behind them and waited for the class to start. She wondered what it was going to be about.

Raven smirked a little bit at the tone of her daughter's voice. The girl was turning out much better than she had initially thought. Perhaps in time she might become strong,

"Good day child." she greeted Keaira with another smirk, "Today I'm feeling... murderous. Just a regular day at the office for me today my dear."

When the class was all assembled, Raven couldn't help but be annoyed at the relatively small number of students. Growing a little bit she tapped the blackboard,

"Today you will be attempting to brew a cleansing potion. This potion is very dangerous." she grinned when she mentioned how dangerous it was, "Because it's so corrosive that if you get any one your skin it will dissolve your skin and bones! So gloves on kiddies."

Recipe;
1. Heat cauldron to 180
2. Add in two pints of bog water and one pint of ox's milk and two cups of lemon juice
3. Add a sprinkle of powdered blue dress butterfly wings
4. Stir clockwise for three minutes
5. Cool cauldron to 50
6. Add four newt eyes and two salamander tails
7. Add two cups of dragon bile
8. Let it settle for ten minutes
9. Light the top layer on fire and let it burn for five minutes
10. Put out the fire by stirring the mixture four times in an anticlockwise direction
11. Add one deku nut
12. Stand well back of the purple smoke, it is deadly
13. Tap the cauldron three times with your wand while stirring clockwise

Ivano shuddered at the thought of being late for potions because he heard rumors however he found himself late and he wasn't sure how the professor would take it. After he found the room he quickly entered and found a seat he stared blankly at the words for he only understood a couple words here and there. He tried to followed but soon gave up and just looked around to see what the other students were doing to try and get an idea.

Keaira looked at Terry as he sat down next to her. She took his hand, giving it a squeeze and then gave her attention back to her mother again, listening and reading her instructions. She turned to Terry. "I'll get the ingredients. Could you heat up the cauldron," she said and rose from the table, going over to the ingredient closet, taking what was necessary, not forgetting the gloves and gave a pair to Terry, taking her own on, before working on the potion along with him.

Terry felt Keaira give his hand a light squeeze when he sat down beside her and that made him feel a little more comfortable about them. Sometimes he just never knew, but then they seem to enjoy that type of relationship.

Terry did exactly what Keaira told him to do. He got the cauldron heated up to the proper temperature of 180 degrees.

Terry helped her get all the ingredients ready to place into the potion.

Working on the first four steps adding everything at the correct time, then cooling to 50 degrees.

Terry knew they were going to get this potion done this class period because they were not going to get into trouble.

Melissa had went ahead and got everything sit up for the potion, she was alone so she didn't have a choice. Coming back from the cupboard the second time she noticed that new student Ivano that she had met in the archives come into the class. She knew his German was not very good and of course everything at the school was in German.

Walking over to Ivano she had a small smile on her face "Come on up to my desk and we can work on this potion together."

Missy walked up to her desk and began the first few steps hoping that he would follow her and help her out.

Looking up he saw Melissa talking to him again this time she was offering her help with the potion again Ivano was in no position to say no so he got up and followed her to her desk and sat down beside her. Waiting for her to show him what she wanted him to do. He leaned over and whispered. "Just tell me what you would like me to do. I was actually sort of bad at potions in my former school but I will do my best to help." He smiled a little at her.

Melissa smiled when she noticed that Ivano came up beside her and whispered into her her about helping her.

"I need you to add the next to steps, four newt eyes and two salamander tails, then add two cups of dragon bile. After that we have to let it settle 10 minutes." Melissa could not help but smile as she turned and looked into Ivano's eyes.
