Lesson Two - Third Years Empty Lesson Two - Third Years

Post by Darcie Vane Mon Apr 30, 2012 6:44 pm

Darcie had hoped for a busier lesson this week, but she didn't think that she was going to get that, instead she hoped for at least someone who looked as if they were going to be able to look interested in what she was telling them long enough to fill up the lesson time.

It made her slightly sad that nobody seemed to care about her subject, and she hoped the maybe in the future she would be able to have many more successful seers pasing through her class and into the Ministry Prophecy Divisions.

Lesson Two - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Third Years

Aquila walked along with a slight skip in her step to her Soothsaying class. She'd honestly forgotten to sign up for it and had missed the first lesson, but the prospect of the second lesson was exciting for her. She had taken a liking to lehrer Vane and thought of her fondly - which was saying something as Aquila disliked all of her other teachers except for The Sweeney. That woman was just plain nuts, so naturally Aquila liked her in a weird way.

She stepped inside the classroom and smiled warmly at lehrer Vane. She took a seat at the front - also an un-usual occurrence - and waved happily at her. "Hello Lehrer Vane, how have you been?" She asked.

Darcie looked up at Aquila with a smile on her lips, she was glad that she was here, she was beginning to worry that she wouldn't have come to see her, as she was a little bit late to the lesson. Not really minding as long as she was here and ready to learn, she let her smile grow into a large beam, standing up to welcome her.

"Aquila! It's so nice to see you, I'm glad to have you here." she smiled lightly "Please do take a seat anywhere you wish, and, tell me, what do you think we are learning about today?"

Gesturing at the tea cups around the room, Darcie grinned.

Lesson Two - Third Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Third Years

Aquila was surprised to see that she was the only person in her lesson - but this didn't bother her in the slightest. It meant more fun for her and her new friend, Darcie, whom she would treat with respect as she was her lehrer after all, but she could be a little more relaxed around her than with a normal lehrer.

"Its nice to be here, Darcie," she remembered that she was allowed to call her that in school and felt herself smiling widely. Aquila looked around the room and took a seat closest to Darcie, before she grinned at the question. "Are we reading tea leaves or something?" She asked with a chuckle.

With a nod and an even larger smile Darcie was happy to see that Aquila had already heard of what they were going to be doing this lesson, that pleased her greately because that meant that she could go straight into the lesson.

"Why yes we are, we are going to be doing tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves, but this can also be done with coffee grounds or wine sediments."

Darcie gestured to two cups in front of them, and she smiled again, this was where the fun began; "We will read each others tea leaves, so take the cup in front of me and I will take the cup in front of you, and interpret using your text book what the symbol means."

Picking up the cup from in front of Aquila, she smiled happily;

"You have become enlightened about something recently, see, this candle stands for enlightenment."
