Master of Disguise (Cae and Tilly)

[Matilda Greengrass]

Matilda had shifted again, and was currently running through the landscape as a leopard. She could see everything so clearly as an animal, and she ran really fast. She had found her way back to the forest she'd been in when she met Alice, but now she wanted to see more. She needed to see more. She wanted to know this Hogwarts and what it did. She sighed and slowed down as she saw the forest ending. She changed back to herself and took on her clothes. She looked around and walked out of the forest.

She was standing close to an amphitheater, and it was pretty huge. She smiled and walked down the steps, skipping to the middle. Except for two or three people on the stands, no one was around. She smiled slightly. She could turn into a lion and make them feel like this really was as ancient as it looked, but she figured it might not be the best idea she ever had. So she simply walked towards the lower level of the stands and sat down, bathing in the sunlight.

Caelum sighed as he woke again to another day - another morning without his sister, Alcyone. He laid in his bed, wishing he could escape to the land of dreams where there was nothing to worry him. However, a moment later, a thought hit him - Capella. He leapt out of bed and ran to her room, the door bursting open to see his younger sister peacefully sleeping in her bed. Her features were filled with relaxation and calm as she slept, with a hint of adorableness. He breathed a sigh of relief and walked over to her bed, sitting down on the edge. He shook her awake lightly and saw that it was only 5am- perfect. The sky was still dark, but a few longer rays of sunlight peered over the horizon. She woke up, and after a small argument he managed to convince her to get out of bed and escape for the day with him. "But Cae," she whispered in protest as she sleepily rubbed at her eyes. "Please, Ella? I don't want you to get hurt." He begged in a broken tone, and with a sigh she nodded her head. He went back to his room to put on a long-sleeved black shirt that covered all of his scars and some jeans. The only scar you could see was the edge of one peeking out of his shirt, one on his neck and a zig-zag on his cheek. He ruffled his hair before he walked back out and went into Ella's room.

Capella wore a bright, pink dress that ended at her knees with little rose patterns on it that made her look so adorable a huge smile arose to his face. She held out her favourite pink and white striped ballet slippers with purple bows on them and he took them, wordlessly slipping them onto her feet. She giggled and patted him on the head before she skipped over to her dresser and climbed onto the chair. With the skill of only her sibling, he grabbed her brush and began to brush her short locks of hair that ended just above her shoulders. He slipped a butterfly barrette into her hair to keep her long fringe off of her face and kissed her on each cheek. They proceeded into the lounge and flood away. It was hours later that they arrived at the amphitheatre and led Capella down some steps to the middle bit where he saw another girl. He smiled and waved at her whilst Capella beamed at her. He walked over to her slowly - as he was in the mood for company - and stopped in front of her. "Hello." He greeted her, Capella's hand in his own as she hid behind him, shy now.

Matilda looked around when she saw some kid her own age along with a girl who seemed a bit younger, and she smiled widely when they walked over to say hello. She supposed these were witches and wizards as well, since they were both in this place. Matilda now knew much about magic, after Alice had told her about it. She was feeling pretty good at that, knowing she was right and her parents were wrong. Of course she hadn't told them. The knowledge of her being a witch would send her to an insanitorium or something. She would have to wait for the letter, and as Alice had said, a professor to come get her.

"Hello," she said happily, looking at them closely.

The guy was wearing a black shirt, but something was sticking up from his shirt. A scar? And another one there on his neck. And face. She didn't ask. Not a good way to start a conversation. He'd walk away. First, gain his trust. She then looked at the girl, who looked very young and super adorable in her pink dress with rose patterns. She also looked very shy.

"That's a beautiful dress you've got there missy. Very pretty. I'm Matilda Greengrass," she said kindly, looking super nicely into the small girl's eyes, not wanting to scare her and then straightened and grinned at the boy as well.

Caelum smiled back at the pretty girl, she seemed quite happy and bubbly. She had locks of white-blonde hair that caught the few rays of sunlight occasionally peeking through the dark clouds and made her hair have a moon-like glow. He immediately thought this was cool, and a girl with such awesome hair just had to be amazing. If she wasn't, his life would surely be worse off. He stuck his free hand out for her to shake as she introduced herself as Matilda Greengrass. He knew that Greengrass was a common name, Astoria Malfoy's original name was Greengrass and she'd married his grandfather, Draco.

"Cool! Are you pureblood, or just randomly have a pureblood name?" He asked and absently scratched at the scar on his neck, which he regretted straight after. It now ached painfully.

Caelum realised he still hadn't introduced himself, but he waited until Capella had finished spluttering and blushing brightly at the compliment before he would introduce the two of them. He pulled Ella in front of him and wrapped his arms around her as if to assure her it was okay, she didn't need to be shy. "Im Caelum Malfoy, this is Capella. My sister Alcyone goes to Hogwarts." He stated randomly, as 10 year olds often did. "And somewhere in those random sounds, I think Capella said thank you for your compliment." Caelum grinned.

Matilda grinned when he asked him if she was pureblood. She wasn't, apparently, which was just weird. Pureblood? Half-blood? Muggleborn. Seriously. It was so weird to have such names, but she supposed that was just a way of saying things and separating them. But she wasn't for it. But she was surprised that he asked so, after Alice had wondered what a muggleborn was doing with a pureblood's name. She sighed.

"No, I'm not a pureblood. I'm muggleborn, actually. So I guess it's random," she said with a beam. She liked random.

Matilda's smile waned when he scratched his face and seemed to be in agony about it. When he trusted her, that would be the first thing she'd ask him. No joke. She grinned at the girl when she started spluttering and blushed.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Caelum and Capella. I don't have siblings at all... But what is Hogwarts like according to your sister? I really wanna see it, and I'm so looking forward to seeing it," she said happily.

She grinned at Capella. "You're very welcome, Capella," she said softly. Then she blinked. "Hey, what's up with the fancy names, by the way? Caelum? Capella? Alcyone? I'm just Matilda..." she said with a slight pout, not at all happy with her given name.
