Lesson 2, First Years

Jonathan was getting everything in his room ready for the new year, it was going to be busy and he hoped it was not dull. He spent time over the summer in Italy and he loved it very much, in fact he had met a woman there but has not had a chance to talk to her in awhile, maybe he should send her a note.

He went around the room and placed a Syllabus on all of the desks so they new what they were going to be learning this years.


Week 1- What is Astronomy
Week 2- History of Astronomy
Week 3- Early Astronomy
Week 4- Chinese Astronomy

He hoped that everyone would enjoy themselves this year. He went back to his desk and waited for the students to arrive.

Christielle opened the door. "Hello, Professor." Christielle mumbled. She walked to a seat somewhere in the first row and fixed her things. She was probably early, since there were no other students around. She waited for other students to arrive.

Christielle sat there, hoping for someone else to walk in the classroom. Then she noticed a Syllabus on her desk. She read it slowly. "What is Astronomy... History of Astronomy... Early Astronomy... Chinese Astronomy..." Christielle mumbled as she read the words.

Jonathan noticed he had finally received a new student into class.

"Welcome to Astronomy, and just one question for this week and that is what is Astronomy too you?"

Jonathan realized that the class was almost over but at least he could start something.
