Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Natasha Willow Thu May 03, 2012 8:44 am

Natasha made her last rounds of the cages. She was only able to get her hands on three of the fairies, but it would be enough for her class to interact with. She hoped they hadn't learned about them already.

She had actually gone to great lengths to acquire these creatures, having found their cocoons before they hatched. She fully intended to release them when the lesson was over, but she found no other way to capture them.

Sam smiled and walked to Care of Magical creatures, she was wondering what they'd be learning this lesson she smiled and walked to the class she saw she was the first one there and she gave the professor a nod and she smiled.

Sam sighed and looked at the cages she bummed and wondered if anyone else would show up, she sighed and waited for the class to start.

Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Second Years

Xander wondered what they would be learning this time. He hadn't had a chance to ride the winged horses last lesson, but was intregued at the new professor's hands on approach.

As he came into the small clearing he saw a few cages with not-too-happy looking spritely creatures in them. Hopefully they wouldn't have to handle them. He wasn't looking forward to whatever those suckers could do to a wizard.

Eva walked down to class and saw Xander and Sam. She walked over to Sam and smiled weakly. She was still a bit depressed and it showed on her face. She didn't really want to face everything in her life right now. She waved at Xander and looked at Sam.

"You ok. I know last time we talked we were both a bit torn up." She said looking at her with concern.

Natasha figured she may as well start the lesson, since a few students had arrived already.

"Alright, class. What can you all tell me about fairies? There is no wrong answer, we are just gathering information."

She conjured a small blackboard on an easel. Using her wand she wrote "Fairies" on the top. She was curious what kinds of things they would come up with.

When the girls didn't reply right away, Xander decided to raise his hand.

"I've heard of Doxies. Not really fun to be around. And I know parts of fairies can be used for potions." He was surprised that wizards could use parts of a creature as important as their wings. Would that count as animal cruelty?

He waited to see what else there was to know about them.

Sam looked and heard Xanders answer and she nodded slowly than she raised her hand as well.

" Faires are also used for more things than just potions, they can also be used for lights" Sam said with a smile Sam had read a lot about fairies and she would've continued but she didn't want to.
