Lesson Three - Second Years
The Doctor was inside the underground classroom doing something he didn't usually do; chin ups. They were great for the upper body and The Doctor felt that a strong upper body was needed for a wizard as their arms would have to be capable of moving at high speeds in intricate patterns. The learning objective was on the board.

ancient runes lesson three
Fearfully going down the steps to the classroom Annika held tightly to the railing and kept whispering affirmations to herself. "I am not alone, I have an excape route open to me, I have a strong mind."
At the base of the stairs she stopped watching the professor doing his chin ups, oblivious to her entry. quietly sitting in her seat she noticed the lesson subject on the board, "Campfire Rune Sequence"
that really sounded interesting and for a moment she forgot her fear and was actually excited to begin class.

Re: Lesson Three - Second Years
The Doctor dropped from the bar he'd been doing his chin ups on and rolled his arms a little bit at the shoulders to loosen his muscles back up a little bit. Smiling at Annika, he moved to the front of the classroom with the blackboard,
"Morning Annika. As you can see, we're doing campfire runes today." he chuckled a little bit, "They're not exactly the hardest or most powerful runic array but they're useful. It's relatively simple to use as well. It's six lines that you assemble into the star of david. Rather simple that bit... but you must then push a small amount of magic into each line. And on the last line, pull your hand away quick if you don't want to get burnt.

lesson three ancient runes
Feeling like she caught the professor at a secret she just smiled as she got her parchment, quill and wand from her satchel. Today was going to be harder than she thought. charms had been going so well she was almost afraid of failure. But she wanted to do this soooo badly.
She sat her things on her desk and waited for the Professor to put the runes on the board, or tell her which ones so they could start. Looking around she wondered if again in this class she would be the only student.
