[Humphrey Williams]

As Humphrey walked out to the Black Lake lots of things were crossing his mind. Tess McCartney was eager to be his friend again, and they had already talked a little bit. Better, she even complimented his paintings. Which touched him a bit, and made him feel proud of himself. It seemed that he would have at least one person to talk to this year at Hogwarts.

He had decided to go down to the lake and relax a bit. It was a tough first day back, but he knew things would get better once he caught up with schoolwork. Also, when he started to become friends with his buddies from first year. That would help a lot. Looking around, he picked a spot by a big tree right next to the lake and sat down, leaning back against it. The Black Lake was so beautiful, his favorite thing to paint at Hogwarts. He wondered when it would be warm enough to swim in. He tested the water, but it was a little bit cold, too chilling for him.

Then he heard a sound behind him, and he turned around to see a Gryffindor girl he knew walking towards him.

Leshia had been really bored she she wanted to play around with some magic she had learned over the summer. She had borrowed a Gryffindor robe and placed a glamor over herself to look like Tessa, the only difference was she could see. She wanted to see how many people she could fool, it was times like this her Slytherin side decided to rear its ugly head.

Walking down to the lake she found her first prey, it was Humphrey and she had hoped he wouldn't get too upset with her.

"Hello Humphrey, how are you?"

"What?!?!" Humphrey yelled, completely surprised by Tessa standing there. ?Wait, the voice is wrong, who are you? Why do you look like Tessa Grey?" he said. Somebody must have been using a glamour charm, that was the only explanation.

"You had your joke, come on, who's there?" he asked. It was a good prank, he had to admit. "Excellent glamour charm by the way, you look exactly like Tessa.

Leshia laughed a little when he figured it out, "Well I guess I forgot about the voice thing, I will have to remember to check out spells or potions out for that."

Leshia sat down next to Humphrey on the ground, "I will let you try to figure it out, and if you get it correct you shall receive a prize."

Leshia was having fun for a change, she had been so bored with nothing to do and she just loved it.

"Hmmm..." he hummed to himself. "If I had to guess, Leshia Prewett maybe?" Humphrey took a stab. "So what do I get if I'm right?" he queried the mysterious impersonator of Tessa.

"Well, whoever you are, how are you? Good, hopefully?" he asked the stranger. If she had taken a voice potion or done a charm he never would have been able to realize it was not Tessa.

Leshia smiled but she wanted to know how he could have guessed," Why would you like I was Leshia Prewett?

Leshia had to laugh, "Well I am trying to be funny, I hope I did not upset you. I was bored and wanted to have a little fun. "

Leshia leaned back against the tree and had to smile, "What would you like as a reward if you got it right?"

"I recognized your voice. For a second I thought it was Tabi. But then I noticed it was lacking the, well, cold-hearted tone to it. So, that must mean it was her twin. At least, that is what I concluded." Humphrey explained his guess to her. He let a grin cross his face, and laughed softly.

"You know me, Leshia. I like to prank people, so I enjoy a good prank in return. Actually, I'm going to Zonko's next Hogsmeade weekend with Tess to get some good pranking equipment. If you ever want a prank victim, we could start a prank war between us. That could be fun. Friendly though, nothing too serious." he said. It could be fun, but he wanted to keep it light and happy.

"Hmm, well let me think about that. Oh, the possibilities..." Humphrey said, letting his creative mind wander. "Got one, you have to do a glamour charm to look like a house elf, and dance in front of the great hall. Then you can run away without revealing yourself. I promise I won't tell anybody it was you. Also, I will be missing as well so they won't know by proceess of elimination." What an interesting mind I have, Humphrey thought to himself.
