Your New Librarian (open)

Horst went to a table at the very center of the library. Now he was back as the Librarian, he needed to meet the students that would be using the library. He wrote on a parchment his name and some of his favorite things to do. Then he stuck a push pin into the parchment and set it out on a piece of particle board so it was clearly visible.

Then, he set out a couple of Pumpkin Pasties he had made. If anything would entice students to come meet him, it would be the smell of food. He had also made a fruit punch and set that up on a table next to the Pumpkin Pasties with cups next to it. Everything was ready, so he took a seat, and waited to see how many students would arrive.

The piece of parchment read as follows: Your New Librarian: Horst Sollmann. For those of you who do not know, I was the old Librarian, but I had to leave to attend to family matters for a little over a year. Love to read epic fantasy novels, and my favorite book is The Odyssey by Homer. Also, I like to take walks by The Black Lake. I have a wife named Selena, and a seven year old son named Roran. My mother also lives with us.

Humphrey walked into the library, and saw the old librarian, Librarian Sollmann setting up the display. He had just finished, and there was a large tray of pumpkin pasties and fruit punch on a table next to it. Walking over, he looked at the display, it told a little about himself. Introduced himself to people who hadn't met him, and shared some of his interests and information that he hadn't known before.

Then, he decided to load up a plate with pumpkin pasties, and filled a cup to the brim with fruit punch. Biting into one of the pumpkin pasties on his plate, he walked over to a table. He took a sip of the punch, it was delicious. A nice blend of a couple different berry flavors. "It is good to have you back Librarian Sollmann. I've missed not talking with you. When I first came back, and saw there was no librarian I was super bummed. Then you show up, like you hadn't even left. Good pasties by the way. If you want to when over teenagers, having food is a great idea." Humphrey said. It was difficult for him to stop eating long enough to say it, but he didn't want to talk with food in his mouth. He had been taught manners after all.
