The Cancer Battle Empty The Cancer Battle

The cancer battle was going in full swing now. His uncle Billy had been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and was most likely going to die within the year. As a result, he was here, at home instead of at Hogwarts. So he could help out with everything and spend time with his uncle before he was gone.

Humphrey would have been in his second year at Hogwarts. He would have been going to class, and hanging with his friends. Instead, he was lonelier than he had ever been in his life. Seeing his uncle slowly wither away was even worse than his parents being ripped from his life in a car accident. His parent's deaths had been quick, just one day they were gone. This was much worse, he was watching his uncle shrivel into a husk of the man he was. Slowly, but steadily, dying. It disturbed him.

He would have sent an owl to his friends, but what would he say. Oh, sorry I left, I am busy watching my uncle die. No, he was too depressed to write a letter to any of them. they would just pity him, and he couldn't deal with that. Maybe later, but not now.

Humphrey Williams was completely alone, and his artwork reflected that. His most recent paintings and sketches had been on much darker subject matter than usual. And he had done a couple abstracts that were down right the most depressing thing he had ever painted. The drawings were the same, eerily sad and creepy looking.
