Sam sighed and walked to the owlery she had gone to the hospital wing because she was starving herself and was exausted from lack of sleep.

Sam blinked and walked inside the owlery she had been expecting an owl from Alex any day now she saw that Winter had an piece of parchment tied to her foot Sam ran to winter and quickly untied the letter and she noticed it was in her uncles hand writing.

Sam opened the letter and quickly read it Sam's eye's widened and she began to shake her cousin... Was dead?!

Sam felt tears hit her cheek she gasped as she read how Alex died Sam dropped the letter and fell to her knees Alex was dead " No no no it c-c-can't be Alex no!" Sam yelled she couldn't believe Alex had left her Sam couldn't believe Alex left her alone in the world Alex had been the only reason Sam didn't fall into depression but now the only family she had left was dead.

[Anne Jones]

Anne was walking to the owlery looking for Sam. She remembered everything and wanted to see her again. She found her and saw her tears. She quickly walked over to her and sat down next to her. She read over the letter and held her letting her cry.

"It's ok Sam, I'm here." She said softly rubbing her back.

Sam sighed and continued to cry she couldn't believe Alex had killed herself " Why Anne, why did Alex do this?" Sam asked her Sam was so hurt and so sad the only family she knew and had left was dead and there was no way Alex could come back.

" Was it something I did?" Sam asked Anne while still crying.

Anne shook her head and still held her. "No it was nothing you did. Never blame your self." She said shaking her head. She knew what it was like to lose your only family, but she had made new family, or she thought she did.

"You're not alone Sam. I'm here for you." Anne felt needed for once and liked the feeling. It made her feel as though she really might belong. She smiled lightly at Sam. "We're family, all of us, here in this castle." She said to her.

Sam looked at Anne and nodded slowly she wiped her face and tried to smile " You're right I shouldn't blame myself but I could've visited her or wrote her more than I did" Sam told Anne Sam knew she'd have to accept her cousin chose to end her life but for Sam it was gonna be hard to adjust to not having Alex there anymore.

" You're right, we're all family and I know Alex will alway's be here, right?" Sam asked her Sam knew she'd alway's be there for Anne whenever Anne needed someone to talk to Sam sighed and wiped her face.
