Second Years Lesson Four
Mikhail yawned a bit to himself. Merlin, he needed some sleep. He didn't have that many students in his class did he? No, just a couple or so. He thought there were more first and second years. He didn't have any third years though. Not that he could remember.
"Perhaps I'll get some next year," he murmured to himself, shaking his head. "Until then, I'll just deal with these guys."
He looked behind him at the Devil's Snare and Flitterbloom. He'd see what his kids remembered, the differences between the two. Hopefully, they'd be able to see what he wanted them too. If not, it was relatively easy to get untangled from the stuff. All he had to do now was wait.

Re: Second Years Lesson Four
Dimitrius entered the greenhouse happily, waving and smiling slightly at Professor Novikov. He generally liked the elder man. He was a bit too stoic for Dimiti's tastes, but he knew Herbology like the back of his hand. He promised himself he would never be too busy for Herbology.
It was one of his favorite classes after all. He took a seat silently and set his satchel on the table in front of him. He caught sight of some weaving vines, and he smiled to himself. It looked like it was going to be one of those days.

"Well Mister Skaia," Mikhail said, giving him a tight lipped smile. "It appears that you are the only student. Ten points to you for that. I see you have noticed the vines weaving behind me."
Mikhail walked toward the plants, picking the pots up and careful maneuvering them so he didn't get touched by any of the vines. It was a dangerous thing because if the Devil's Snare got one vine on him, the rest would join. He set them down on the table and sighed.
"You'll get ten points if you can identify the names, tell what they do, and differentiate between them." Mik said, crossing his arms and waiting for the boy to speak.

Dimitrius grinned, extending his hand to the plant on the right. It gently coiled its vines around his fingers before letting go and weaving through his other fingers. "This is Flitterbloom. You can tell exactly what it is by the tint of blue on the underside of the vines." Dimitri answered. "It's one of my favorite plants."
He withdrew his fingers from the Flitterbloom before looking over at the plant on the left. "That right there is Devil's Snare. It can be mistaken as Flitterbloom, and vice versa. A deadly mistake at best because if you come across Devil's Snare that you think is Flitterbloom, you're definitely dead meat." He answered, looking up at the Professor.

"Well done Mister Skaia, another ten points to you," Mikhail said, pushing the Flitterbloom plant to his student. "I want you to take care of this little Flitterbloom. Think of it as a fun little project for the summer, since you don't seem to mind dealing with plants like most people happen to. I look forward to seeing it when the next school year arises."
Mikhail grabbed the Devil's Snare carefully and moved it toward the back of the greenhouse before heading back up front to look at his student. "Alright then. Off ya go." Mikhail said jutting his head toward the door. "Enjoy your summer."
