Background Information:

Bob is the Durmstrang Institute's poltergeist. He never lived as a human before, nor will he ever live as a human, and he cannot die. He loved the founders of Durmstrang Institute, especially the Mühe founder, Vikticus Steinergraft. Bob loved it that Steinergraft was a torture master, although he himself could not do that, for fear that he would be kicked out of Durmstrang Institute.

Bob, just like Peeves of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, loves teasing the students, especially first years.
