Lesson One - First Years Empty Lesson One - First Years

Post by Richard Romain Tue Dec 13, 2011 4:31 am

Richard walked into the classroom for the second time since school had broken up and already he could feel a migrane begining. For some reason he'd thought teaching would be a good idea. How silly of him.

Waving his wand in a careless motion, matches flew across the room, three for each desk and three for each student. The first lesson was going to be easy. And if they couldn't manage that...?

Well if that happened he'd fail their sorry asses.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Airen walked in cautiously. When he saw the professor, he immediately thought that this was going to be a strict class. The professor seemed tired or just suffering from a headache. Best not tick him off. Airen thought.

"Hello, Professor," he greeted. He slid into a front seat. He took out his supplies.

Darren walked into the class and seeing the Professor, he bowed a little before proceeding to sit beside a Gryffindor student.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Charlotte hurried into the classroom and smiled as she saw there was a seat open next to Air, she was glad because she hadn't really gotten the chance to sit by him much and to be honest she missed his company a little.

Sidling over to sit beside him Charlotte sent him a quick smile before focusing her attention on the Professor, her father was friends with him, and although he may be in a bad mood now, he wouldn't be for the rest of the lessons.

She hoped.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Richard looked over at his new students coldly before breaking out into a smile, having frightened them enough for this lesson,

"Why hello class!" he greeted them as a whole, even though only three students caught his eye. A gryffindor, a ravenclaw and a slytherin. No one could ever acuse him of being biased, "This is Transfiguration. If you already know this... well done, you can read the label on the door."

He smiled a bit more,

"On the desks, in front of each of you, you will find three matches." he shrugged, "Quite simple really. You're going to turn them into matches. So jab your wand firmly at them and say 'Reveeto' and visualise the match changing to metal."

Charlotte smiled softly and she looked at the needles on the desk in front of her, she bit her lip, this was going to be hard to do, really really hard, but hopefully once she got into the zone it would be easier. Making sure to listen to the Professor she nodded.

"Yes sir!" she said eagerly.

Taking out her wand she looked at the matches and picked one out from the rest, setting it on the desk. Charlotte visualised the wood turning into metal, and she slowly tapped it with her wand.

"Reveeto."

Nothing happened so she pouted, but then, more confidently Charlotte said: "Reveeto!"

And the match turned into a needle, gasping with happiness Charlotte quickly repeats the exercise with the other matches leaving her feeling very proud.

Richard looked around the classroom. Of course he walked over to a few of the first years who looked like they were about ready to set their matches aflame. Once again it seemed that only the three students who he'd originally thought of were actually doing the exercise right. Charlotte Smith, the daughter of one of the other professors and personal friend Cobalt Smith, had finished the exercise first,

"Well done Miss Smith." he told her with a smile, "Five points to slytherin."

He glanced around the class and noticed what time it was,

"Five points to both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw for the attempts of Messers Auditoren and Arbalastier." he smiled a bit, "Class dissmissed."
