Lesson One - First Years

Konig was sat on top of his desk as he waited for his students with bated breath. He could barely contain his happiness! Soon he was going to be teaching children the true power of the mind!

And how to destroy it!

How fun!

The first lesson was going to be a bit more boring than the rest of the year he admitted but it wasn't as if the highmaster would allow him to just break people's minds straight off the bat.

Alys entered the classroom hesitantly, unsure of whether to bring her wand or her books. In the end, she decided on both and made her way into the spacious room, trying her best to appear confident.

"Hello Professor," she said, her head bowed and before he could answer, she made her way to the nearest desk and settled there. This was the subject she had been looking forwards to most but now that she was actually here, she had no idea what to do.

Ava walked slowly into the classroom and approached the instructor cautiously, she was unsure how this man would react to her request. "Hello Professor, I was wondering if you would allow me to attend your lessons? I haven't signed up for it but I met a friend on the ship here who likes this class. She got me thinking about it, and I want to take it too!" Ava spoke in a rush, hoping she wasn't about to get blasted out of the classroom, literally or figuratively whichever the case may be.

Alys really had to applaud Ava's courage to be able to walk into the class like that and ask permission. Alys herself wouldn't have been able to do it to save her life but Ava had. Alys felt a rush of hope inside her, hope that the Lehrer would let Ava join the class. At least there would be a friendly face in class with her even if she did end up being horrible at the subject. Silently, the girl waited for the teacher's reply.

Lukas had been having a rather eventful first days at Durmstrang. He was actually going to be on time for his Psychology class so he decided he was going to do something different this time. He was going to smile and be polite to everybody.

As he entered the classroom he saw wild cat who seemed to be waiting for lehrer Nickel to talk. Killing his curiosity as to what had been going on. He looked at lehrer Nickel and smilingly said, " Good day Lehrer."

He said a simple hello with a big smile to Alys and sat next to her.

Before the Lehrer could reply, the classroom was interrupted yet again and this time, it was the boy she had planned on ignoring who entered. Of course, he made it difficult to do that when he greeted her with a smile but Alys was in no mood to smile back. Ignoring him completely, she waited for the teacher's response. Please let Ava be in this class, she begged the Lehrer silently. The thought of having to stand that boy all by herself was not appealing in the least.
