Front Exit
Lukas was really impressed by the ship. He had been on a few ships, even worked on them but the Durmstrang Ship was a really massive vessel something he had never seen before. He was so lost in admiring the ship that he did not realise that every other student had boarded the ship until he was shouted upon by one of the crew members of the ship.
It took him a while and a lot of walking before he could find a place to keep his trunk and go wander around in the ship. He stumbled upon the game room first where a couple of 4th year students were playing Viele-Solitär. After a few games with the 4th years who seemed to have taken the liking to him asked if he would like to go the Dinning room with them to which he gladly agreed.
Later on he was pretty tired and decided to head back to his cabin. Some polite chit chat later he dozed of to deep sleep.
He woke up with a jolt as he heard the siren. He changed into his uniform in the cabin itself and dashed towards the exit, cursing the boys in his room all this while.
He saw the boys with another group of students, who looked to be in the first year as well.
"Why didn't you wake me up!?", he shouted at the boys as he ran towards them. He was furious and wanted to knock them out.
"We tried, really we did but you just wouldn't budge!", replied one of the boys.
"Doesn't matter you should have dragg-", he was cut short mid sentence by cat's scream. He never noticed the cat in his way and mistakenly kicked it. One of the girls from the 1st year group tried to tell him something but he just scowled at her and told her to keep her bloody cat in a cage as he went past everybody and left the ship.

Re: Front Exit
Alys was on her way out after having changed into her furs, hoping to catch Tarragon and Ava on the way. She really had no wish to run into older students on her own and as her Mama said, there was safety in numbers. She spotted a few other girls who looked to be around her age and therefore safe and made to follow them, trying to appear as discreet as she could.
And then the jerk happened.
Like some sort of crazed bear, a boy who looked to be in fourth year flew out of a cabin nearby, his eyes still gummy with sleep, and started screaming something at some older boys ahead of them. And not only that, he managed to kick one of the girl's cats.
Thinking how easily it could have been little Kai who liked to wonder around, Alys turned to the boy and tried to give him a piece of her mind but he was off before she even caught a proper glimpse of him. Muttering darkly under her breath, the witch hurried towards the exit plank, hoping to catch up to Ava soon.

Re: Front Exit
After he had finished changing, Tarragon made his way to the exit of the ship. He was in his own little world when he heard commotion in front of him. Although he couldn't see clearly, he heard a cat hiss in front of him, and secretly hoped it wasn't Kai.
He tries to push through the crowd, but fails miserably. He spots a familiar looking blonde hair style, and decides to try his best to catch up with Alys to see if she knew what all the distress was about.
The first day of school, and already something was kicking off. Tarragon just didn't know what, and who was to blame for it.

Re: Front Exit
Ava had spotted Alys and was making her way over to her through the crowds when she saw the incident with the cat. Her hand flew to her uniform pocket, glad Kai was still there. If there wasn't so many other students in the way, she would be hexing the idiot who kicked the poor kitty.
Finally reaching Alys, she laid her hand gently on the blonde girl's shoulder to get her attention. "How mean that boy should have been looking where he was going! If that was Kai he would be on the other end of my wand right about now." Ava complained, petting Kai's head affectionately while the kitten purred away in her warm pocket.
Looking out the corner of her eye she spotted Tarragon, "Hey Tarragon over here!" She called above the commotion, not sure whether he had seen them yet or not.

"Yes, I would have definitely run the loser over with my bicycle. I'm just glad the cat was okay," Alys fumed beside her friend. The witch honestly couldn't tell if the boy had kicked the cat by accident or intentionally. But if he was a student here, she supposed she would find out soon enough.
"Hey Tarragon over here!" Ava called over her shoulder and Alys turned to see the blond boy from earlier making his way to the same exist they were. She waved at him, her expression still somewhat angry.

Re: Front Exit
Alys response pulled a giggle from Ava, "You are going to turn that bicycle into one heck of a weapon some day aren't you? I can't wait to ride one, we can both mow them down then!"
Feeling the press of the students get worse, "I hope we get to the school soon, all these people are squishing me!" Ava complained.

Re: Front Exit
Catching up with the girls as quickly as he could, he smiled at both of the wearily.
"I see you have both changed accordingly, I apologise for my long absence, I was trying to find something to eat as well. No such luck!" Looking down at Alys' expression, he added, "Did you see what went on? I just heard a load of noise but not much else."
He looked round to see if he could see what the cause was, but still nothing was clear to him.
"Alys, are you alright, you look like someone has upset you...?"

Re: Front Exit
Alys was still in a huff when Tarragon joined them and when asked for a reason, she simply glared in the direction the cat kicking boy had disappeared in. "Just some idiot who didn't watch where he was going," the witch replied coming up on deck with her friends. No doubt she would have said more if a plop of something white and soft hadn't hit her right on the nose a that moment.
"Snow!" the girl said, feeling the cold stuff siding down her face, "Isn't it pretty? I've never seen snow before," she admitted, a bright smile forming on her lips, her earlier bad mood forgotten.

Re: Front Exit
Ava turned towards Alys, startled at the girl's admission. "You really haven't seen snow before?"
When she thought about the comment made though, she replied warmly, "Yes it is beautiful. Father always said the first snow of the season was magic in its own right, we used to have snowball fights and build snowwizards, it was fun. I guess if its the first snow for you ever it has even more magic!" Ava was being serious, this was something really cool to share with Alys.

Re: Front Exit
The blonde smiled full out at Ava's explanation on magic snow. The fluffy drifts of white were amazing on her skin and she couldn't help but feel happy.
"I live by the sea," she admitted. "It's sunny and it rains sometimes but it doesn't snow." Letting out a chuckle, the witch ran a few steps ahead and opened her mouth, letting her tongue out. She tilted her face upwards, catching a falling snowflake on her tongue. Giggling again, the witch turned to Ava.
"I've never had a snowball fight or built a snowwizard, but would you teach me?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.

Re: Front Exit
Ava had to laugh at Alys excitement, but she responded quickly so Alys would no she was laughing with her not at her, "Of course I will! Its tradition, anyway to make good snow balls or snowwizards you need the right kind of snow. It needs to be wet and heavy, the light fluffy stuff doesn't really stick together too well, and the tiny hard pellets hurt if they get mixed into a snowball." One thing they did have at the manor was snow, not always a lot, but it was there throughout winter.
"I think there are charms to help pack the perfect snow ball," Ava admitted, "But I prefer doing it the manual way, half the fun of snow ball fights is making your own ammo!"
Wow, being around an excited Alys was making Ava remember all the fun she used to have, she was almost as excited as the other girl while explaining what she could as they walked towards school.

Re: Front Exit
Truth be told, Alys was lost at "different kids of snow" but Ava was happy enough explaining and the blonde herself was happy enough enjoying the snowflakes gathering in her hair. She would learn all about snowwizards and such later. Holding out her hands, the girl waited for a bit of snow to gather in them before turning to Ava.
"Hey Ava," she said, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Surprise!" she squealed, flinging the snow on her friend.

Re: Front Exit
Tarragon chuckled to himself as Alys got more excited with every new comment Ava made about snow. She looked like a child on Christmas day with a new present. He watched as they both tried to eat the snow. And when Alys chucked a load of snow at Ava, he couldn't help but laugh out loud. Today had been the best day in his life, without a shadow of a doubt, and he hoped he would have loads more time with the two girls to come.
A sneaky thought came to Tarragon's mind, kneeling on his hands and knees between Ava, and a big mound of snow, he looked at Alys with a meaningful look. Push her back over me, he thought. The sight of someone being covered in that much snow would be hilarious, and it wouldn't hurt seeing as it was fresh soft snow.
He waited for Alys to catch on...

Re: Front Exit
Alys caught that look all right, but Tarragon still had a few things to learn about the blonde witch and her loyalties. Instead of pushing Ava towards him and into the snow bank as he clearly intended her to, the blonde laughed loudly and ran into him instead. Had he been upright, she would never have been able to knock him down but as he was kneeling, she brought him down amid the snow easily - and landed right on top of him, losing her balance.
Laughing and out of breath, she picked up some snow and sprinkled it in his hair. "You're outnumbered Herr. Zeverai," she said cheekily gesturing to herself and Ava. "What are you going to do now?"

Re: Front Exit
Laughing out loud, Tarragon really should have seen this coming. Wrapping his arms around her so she couldn't run away, he sat both of them up so he could move. He then grabbed a handful of snow, and smudged it into her hair with a laugh. He then managed to get back to his feet, holding her in his arms. He found yet another snow drift, and holding her just above it, dropped her into it. He laughed once more.
"I am sorry, I thought there was going to be more of a fight?" He grinned, knowing she could do nothing against his vast size compared with her own.

Re: Front Exit
"No fair," Alys pouted, clearly defeated with snow in her hair and trickling into her uniform. "We cant help being smaller than you," she continued getting to her feet and dusting the snow off her cape. "But just wait till we have a real snowball fight. We can overcome your size with strategy," she grinned up at the boy who was turning out to be a lot more fun than she had initially expected.

Re: Front Exit
He couldn't help but laugh at Alys' pout, did she really think that would work on him? It didn't matter if she thought so, he could deal with that. He shook his hair like a dog would shake once out of water, splattering snow over Alys once more. He couldn't help being so boyish, he knew what girls were like with getting their hair wet, he couldn't help but assume that Alys would be the same.
"I would very much like to see that, Miss Diederich." He grabbed a handful of snow, quickly patted it together, and chucked it in Alys' direction. Before grabbing another handful, and chucking that one in the direction of Ava.

Re: Front Exit
"I hope you realize this means war, Herr. Zeverai," said Alys squeezing yet more snow out of her hair. If he thought he could get away with soaking them though like this on the first day of school, he had a thing coming. He may be bigger and stronger but there were two of him against only one of him. And from the way Ava had spoken, she seemed to know her way around snow.
Making a quick tactical decision that would serve best given the circumstances, the girl ducked behind her friend and squealed "Get him Ava," using the other girl's body as a shield.
