Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Darcie Vane Tue Jun 26, 2012 12:25 am

Darcie was looking forward to this lesson like she always was, however she was a little sad that she had missed the last few tasks between Hogwarts and Durmstrang, she made a promise to herself however to come to the next one as it was Aquila fighting in it.

Running a hand through her hair Darcie tied it up into a bobble and wondered about the times ahead, with Mik now being her friend again and with Luther being so close to her now, things were looking up for her.

A large smile on her lips she waited for her class to arrive, the lesson point was on the board like always;

Lesson Two - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - Second Years

Post by Christielle van Gysel Tue Jun 26, 2012 6:13 pm

Christielle walked happily into the classroom, eager, as usual, for today's lesson. She took a quick look at the board before giving the lehrer a "Good morning," and made her way to one of the seats.

As she sat down, she took her Dark Arts book from her bag. Turning it to the right page, she started reading a little.

Christielle sighed and took a quick look at the door. Looking back down at her book, she started reading, taking no notice of the student who just arrived.

Darcie smiled when she realised that there was just one student in her class today however sad it was to her she knew that she needed to be able to be as happy as she would have been had she had twenty or thirty students in her class.

"Hello again Christielle, now, do you know anything about voodoo at all, what it involves, where people most commonly practice it?" she asked with a happy smile on her lips.

Coming in late to dark arts, he hurried to his seat. "Sorry I'm late Professor Vane." Lars said. He had come in soon enough to hear that the subject of today's lesson was voodoo. To be honest, he didn't know much about it.

Dark Arts was always a fun class, and Professor Vane was a great teacher. Every lesson he learned a lot, which was more than what he could say for some lessons.

Christielle was about to answer when Lars walked in. She smiled a little. Hopefully they'd get more points for Verstand. She stood up and answered;

"Voodoo originates from the Fon word Voudon which means: the power; that who is invisible; the creator of all things. The way it works is through the energies and intelligence which are directed and manifested of ourselves and our universe."

"I think..?" Christielle mumbled.

Lucienne walked in the classroom. Seeing only 3 students inside, she sighed in relief.

She sat down on the side where all the other students were and glanced at them for a while, knowing she would be really embarrassed if she stared longer.

Lucienne got her book and opened it, she was just looking at the words, not reading it. She stared at the door, wondering if any other students would come in.

Darcie pouted lightly when she saw three students come in late and she hung her head a little bit she did hate having to take housepoints away but she needed to do it, so that she wouldn't get in trouble and they would try not to do it again.

"Three students late? Lars, I'm surprised, Lomasi, I'm very dissappointed and Lucienne, I expected better." she said sadly "10 points from Verstand and 5 points from Geschick."

When Christielle answered her question Darcie smiled happily and she nodded her head;

"Well done! Ten points to Verstand. Thats certainly a very sophisticated definition of voodoo, one of the main types of voodoo is the voodoo doll, this when you add something belonging to a person can physically effect them. You can make these little dolls out of clay, or out of material, and then if you add a hair of someone else to it, it will work!" she smiled gently

"Homework for next lesson could you please try and make one of these dolls? Lesson dismissed."
