Horst wrote the word 'Alohomora' on the board in all capital letters. It was the Unlocking Charm. When his students arrived he would give them the chance to tell him what Alohomora did. He was excited for them to arrive.

This was his first time teaching. The Headmistress had asked him if he wanted to teach Charms. She knew it was his favorite subject, and he enthusiastically agreed. Time to see whether he was cut out for teaching.

"Hello, Professor,"Melody said as she walked in.Melody had already taught herself some spells before coming to Hogwarts so the spell written on the board wasn't new to her.

Well, it appeared this first year was the only once coming today. "Hello, Miss Lovegood is it?" Horst asked, smiling at her. "Today we are learning the Alohomora Charm, do you happen to know what this spell does?"

Good work today, 10 points to Ravenclaw." Horst told his only first year student. He thought the class had gone well for his first day teaching.
