Fishing (OPEN)

Takata smiled, holding his fishing rod, the traditional Japanese wooden rod with a hook, yet the bait was simply a lotus leaf. He sat on his stool and flung it towards the lake.

He did miss the UK. He did.

Charina had decided to pay the Willow Lake for a visit. She did not know why; she just wanted to.

As she made her way to the lake, she saw someone fishing. She walked closer until she was close enough to see the person's face. Then she noticed that he was one of the Hogwarts professors.

She finally reached the lake. She took of her shoes and socks and sat down, dipping her feet into the cold water. "It's nice here, isn't it?" she said, quietly, to the person.

Takata turned around the moment he heard someone behind him, and to his surprise, it was a lady. A young one at that.

"Yes it is. Absolutely lovely." Takata smiled, watching the lady dip her feet in the water.

"I'm sorry, but do I know you?" Takata laughed, slightly embarrassed.

Chari nodded. She looked at the man and grinned, "No, I don't think we've met. I'm Charina Hayes," She reached out for him to shake her hand. "Member of the British Rebels."

She then bit her tongue. What would the man react to that? She knew most people didn't like the British Rebels, since they were... well, rebellious. And they were extremely dangerous.

"Oh? I see..." Takata nodded slowly, knowing full well what she referred to as rebel. He wasn't exactly uneasy. He took no sides in the ongoing conflict as a teacher, and he was born and raised in Japan. As long as Hogwarts and its students were safe, he was not going to pick sides.

He shook her hand, at the same time, letting go and holding the rod with one hand instead of two, ready to plunge his hand into his pocket for his wand, or grip her in hand to hand combat.

"So how are you?" Takata smiled.

Chari nodded. "Well, yeah. I just sort-of hope that you wouldn't go running away. I really do need some friends, you know. But that doesn't really work, since I'm a British Rebel, and all these people think we're doing the killing because we want to... it's not really the point of our group. But you wouldn't understand unless you're one of us," she said, shrugging.

Then she noticed that the man was prepared to plunge his hand into his pocket and grab his wand.

"Oh, I'm fine, thank you. But... I don't think I got your name?" Chari said, smiling lightly.

"I am Takata Umi, an Occulumency professor in Hogwarts. I'm sure you've known that already?" Takata laughed, hauling up a trout from the leg and placing it in the basket of cane he brought.

"War breeds war. Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than act without any thought or doubt." Takata suddenly said.

Humphrey had brought his paint supplies, and had just arrived at his destination, Willow Lake. This was where he had first met Senium, and he wanted to capture it with his paintbrush. There were two other people there, one he knew, Professor Umi. The other he didn't know, but he decided to go and meet them. "Hello, how is the fishing going Professor Umi?" Humphrey asked, seeing the professor with his pole in the water.

He walked to the other side of him, and started taking his supplies out of his backpack. First, he set up the canvas stand, then put the blank canvas on it. Then, he took out his brushes and his paints. The lighting was fairly good from where he was, so he began by painting the banks around the lake.

"Takata Umi. I've heard of it, but I've never really met you," Chari smirked. "Until now, of course."

She then nodded after the long saying of his. Then she heard footsteps. She turned around and saw a student walking over to them. The boy was carrying some paint supplies. The boy spoke to Takata. They seemed to know each other.

Chari mentally slapped herself across the face. Of course they'd know each other! The boy was studying at Hogwarts, and Takata was a professor. They obviously knew each other.

"Hello," Chari said quietly to the boy. "What's your name?" she asked and smiled lightly

"Humphrey... Come here... The view is nicer..." Takata said, as if he had all the time in the world. In fact, he was panicking. What if he and the woman had a clash? The poor boy would have been caught in it.

"Fishing is okay I guess... 1 trout... I'm going to cook it later!" Takata smiled, tapping his free hand on his knee.

Chari listened as the two of them got into conversation. She simply nodded. the view [i[was[/i] nicer at that spot.

She then watched as Takata tapped his hand on his knee. Odd. Or maybe that was only because Charina didn't really observe people. Until now. "Hm... a trout? Not bad..." she mumbled.

She felt for her pocket. Chari took her wand out, and mumbled, "Avis." The birds instantly shot out of her wand. One by one, they all flew away. A light smile appeared on her face.

"That was a well conjured charm." Takata smiled when the flock of birds flew from her wand.

"I would venture to assume that... Rebels... You have killed?" Takata asked.

"Ah, you're right, thanks for pointing that out." Humphrey said, and moved his canvas over to where he had indicated. Then he began to paint, again starting with the bank, at the back of the lake to begin with. This was such a beautiful spot, he loved it. "Trout, cool, hope it turns out well."

"I'm Humphrey Williams, and you are Miss...?" Humphrey asked. She seemed nice enough, but you never really knew. He stayed on the alert, didn't want to be surprised by her. Sure, Professor Umi was there, and he would be on his side; but, he wanted to be able to protect himself if he had to.

Melody walked along Willow Lake she didn't fish but her cat Jinxy liked to chase the fish.She spotted Professor Umi,Humphrey and some woman that she didn't know.The professor seemed on edge but it was hard to tell from a distance and she could just be misinterpreting his body language.

Takata heard footsteps and he turned around, to see Melody there.

"Hello, Miss Lovegood! What brings you here today?" Takata smiled, inwardly worrying what would happen if the rebel and herself
Clashed. He would have to protect two
Children.

"I'm just taking a walk."Yep he defiantly looked on edge."Hello professor, hello Humphrey,hello...I don't think we've met.I'm Melody and this is my cat Jinxy."Jinxy purred in response as she rubbed herself against Melody's leg.

Humphrey could tell that Takata was worried about something. Then he noticed that the professor kept looking over at the woman, and a thought came to him. Was the professor worried about a possible fight. Even if he wasn't, he thought it might be best to leave the two of them alone.

"Hey Melody, come on, let's leave the two of them alone. I think Professor Umi may prefer to speak to the lady by himself. So, is this your cat?" Humphrey asked her.

"Um,okay.Bye professor and bye miss."Now Humphrey looked worried too.Was it something about this woman?Jinxy didn't look worried but she wasn't sure if her cat possessed character judgement."Yeah this is my cat."

Melody clearly wasn't catching on, and he didn't think she really needed to know. Humphrey didn't want to worry her or anything, after all she may not have been dangerous. "Cool, what's his, or her, name?" Humphrey asked her, smiling. "You like to come here for the view, or what? I come here to relax, and was going to paint today. Thus the backpack with the painting supplies."

"Her name is Jinxy and I just like taking a walk every now and again there's something relaxing about nature,"she replied.She looked back at the professor they were a little bit further away from him now but he defintly looked relived to see them go.
