Lesson Three - Second Years

[Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake]

Raven was more than happy when she saw that there were some of the wraiths from Halloween still lurking around the castle from the Halloween ball, they had managed to make Christmas a scary occassion too if you happened to bump into one on the way back from one of the feasts.

With a small growl Raven looked at the classroom door, she was currently throwing razors against it as a sort of dartboard and she didn't want it to open for the students, with a small frown she slammed it open and put Steven the Skull on the bottom as a door stop.

Today they were going to be doing some actual work, if they could be bothered to pull their fingers out, writing the topic on the board she waited for the students to arrive;

'Babbling Beverage'

There were still a couple of wraiths floating around the school that Professor Drake had brought in from what he'd heard. Lars had always been a bit scared of Professor Drake, she was definitely dangerous. Part of him always wondered if she was slightly insane as well for some reason.

He walked into the Potions class, and took a seat. As he was walking in, he had noticed that there were razors sticking in the classroom door. That was definitely different than how most teachers passed the time waiting for her students.

"Hello professor, how was your break?" Lars asked her. He sat down, and noticed they were studying the babbling beverage today.

Christi entered the classroom, relieved that classes were finally back again. Except she wasn't as crazy for Potions, since Lehrer Drake scared her a lot. But she learned tons of things from her already, and Christi was still in her second year.

She sat on one of the seats, nearly tripping on one of the razors on the floor. What was wrong with Lehrer Drake? Was she always that psycho?

Christi looked up the board. It read 'Babbling Beverage.' She opened her Potions book to the right page and waited for the lehrer to start the class.

Raven looked at the two students, they seemed to be consitant in her lesson and they were here last time, hopefully they wouldn't need any time to finish their potions, they should have had them done already, however she was unsure.

"Have you both got your potions that you should have made last lesson?" she asked, her eyes gazing at each student in turn, while she waited for one of them to answer, or them to step forward with their vial full of potion for them to test this lesson.

She did not hold out much hope however, which was why she had designated this lesson for the potion also.

"No, I was working on it, but then a student came in late and you dismissed us. I didn't have time to finish making it, sorry professor." Lars had been working on it diligently, but he couldn't complete it. Hopefully he would be able to finish it this lesson.

Raven's face grew dark when Lars stepped forwards and told her that he had not managed to finish brewing the potion, and he stood there waiting for her to say something instead of getting to it.

Her eyes grew black and she growled gently;

"What are you standing here for then?! Get brewing and I expect this potion next lesson, whether you brew it now, in the common room, where ever! 30 points from Verstand for both of your pitiful attempts in this lesson."

Picking up one of her razors, Raven grinned and tossed it at the back of the closed door, hitting a bullseye on the target board drawn in blood on the back of the door.

"Lesson dismissed."
