Willow's mouth dropped open and she gulped a little bit, maybe Markuz wasn't as nice as she thought and her face still turned a little pale, placing her hand over her mouth she almost felt sympathy pain for the man, but then again, she supposed in a way he deserved it.

"I suppose that he deserved to be punished a little bit, it is illegal after all but...it sounded like it hurt was he okay?" she asked, biting her lip "I suppose I'm one of the only people that would allow him to get away with it with only a telling off though."

Smiling gently Willow gave Markuz a quick hug and beamed down at him, moving over to her seat and pulling his jean leg back down before she went to sit down once more.

"Thank you, you're so considerate, many people I have done research for have always put their needs first above my own, I don't mind though, as long as they're nice and polite about it." she smiled.

Markuz saw that he had scared Willow this time around. Their opinions clearly were clearly different on how far punishment could go. He had best keep his deeds in the army somewhat secret from Willow then, she would probably take those badly.

Still, Markuz couldn't suppres a humorous snort.

"Oh he was fine, we were in a hospital after all. He cut up the insides of his mouth pretty badly, but he was patched up in a jiffy. I warned him to never try that technique on any living being again, and that was that."

Hearing Willow explain how she had responded, Markuz decided to try and get Willow to see that sometimes more firm measures were necessary.

"Willow, although I admire your friendly attitude and your gentle behaviour, sometimes a telling off wont do the job. Sometimes you need to step up and do something if somebody does something which is absolutely wrong."

As Willow pulled his jeans back down, Markuz Vanished the sidetable and sat with his legs under his desk again. He had liked that hug quite a lot.

"Again, you should dare to stand up for yourself Willow. I admire your willingness to help others and to be friendly and kind, but you need to think of yourself as well. You are no less valuable than anybody else. How can you help somebody to your fullest if you yourself are not completely okay?" Markuz frowned.

Willow was glad that the man was okay after he had been healed, she supposed that all it would have done was give him a little bit of a scare and then make sure that he wasn't about to do it again, even though he was fixed up afterwards, Willow still didn't like the idea fully.

"I'm glad that he was alright." she smiled gently "It's a horrible technique, something that should be punishable by prison I think, it's a good way of deterring people from doing it again."

Once again, Willow was reminded of how she should stand up for herself when Gervais came to her, and unintentionally she pressed her hand to her left eye, the bruise was still there under the glamour charm she had put up.

"I don't think I have it in me to hurt anybody no matter what they did, I suppose it's just one of my biggest faults." she smiled sadly "But if your nice, you'll find not many people want to hurt you in the first place. I manage to find a way...I suppose seeing other people happy makes me okay, and makes me happy."

Seeiing that he wouldn't be able to make Willow change her ways, Markuz reflected that perhaps that was good. The world could do with some innocence.

Markuz saw Willow cover her left eye for a second. He didn't know what to make of that. A memory?

Hearing Willow explain that she didn't have it in her to hurt someone, and seeing her sad smile, Markuz felt he had the solution. Willow's attempt at reassuring him by saying that most people wouldn't want to hurt people like her anyways, was not very effective.

"Most people isn't good enough. If ever anybody gives you trouble, and you can't resolve things in a non-violent way, come get me and I'll take care of it. It'd make me feel better if you said yes."

Willow smiled happily and she nodded her head, making her hair bounce a little bit as she did so, if it would make Markuz feel better then of course she would agree to whatever he suggested that she do if she was in trouble.

"Oh of course, I'll definately come and tell you if I need help, which I guess with the war and everything I probably will do. People seem to just attack people all over the place now." she whispered.

Thinking about all of the attacks and all of the deaths Willow found herself actually getting quite upset and she took a deep breath to try and calm herself down a little bit;

"Sorry I guess it just upsets me a little bit to think of things like that, but at least as a healer I'll be able to help those who are injured now, thats something that comforts me a little bit."

Markuz smiled, relieved that Willow would tell him if she had trouble.

She seemed to become upset when speaking of the war though. He decided he didn't like that.

"Yes, it is too bad that the innocent have gotten involved in this war. It would be better if both nations just openly admitted they were fighting and organised a true battle were those who are willing to fight, can do so without hurting the innocent."

"Healer is a very honourable profession and I am sure that many a person will be grateful to you in the years to come. I might even be one of them at some point, you never know what might happen after all."

Willow smiled gently, she did think that Markuz's idea was one that would be better if there must be a fight in the first place, but she knew that it was in the nature of humans not to agree and it was something that would always cause trouble, especially in wars.

"I think that idea might be one of the best to do...but I think things might be getting better, I mean, the tournament between Durmstrang and Hogwarts went off without a hitch." Willow smiled happily "Maybe things will get better with the new British Minister too."

Gently she wound her fingers in one of her ringlets, making it tighter than it would have been before, hopefully she was right, and things would begin to change because of the new things that were developing in the Government.

"There's always hope that things will change, just like there's always hope that I'll be able to fix your knee up! Which is what I'm going to try and do when I get back to my office." she smiled happily.

Smiling kindly, Markuz had to agree with Willow. Things were looking up. Although the attack on the Durmstrang ship and the attack on St. Mungo's were both examples of relations worsening, those acts might very well have been executed by small groups of extremists. Peace sounded nice.

"Hope is good indeed, and something we should never lose. But I do repeat, don't stress yourself on my behalf, take care of your other business first, you know, lesson plans, your application to the hospital, stuff like that. I hope we can talk again some time soon? Now, it's getting late and the sun is setting. I'm going to fetch my cane and head down for an early dinner. I try to get to my room before the pain starts, that way the students don't witness my weakness."

Looking at Willow and smiling kindly, Markuz spoke again, "Or is there anything else you wish to discuss?"

Willow blushed and she didn't think that she would be keeping Markuz from anything, but he was right it was getting late and she would be needing to get back to her room so that she could prepare for her lessons and such.

"Oh no no of course." she said getting up from her chair with a smile on her lips "I wouldn't want to keep you from anything Markuz."

Wandering over to the door Willow opened it and sent a cheerful smile back at Markuz, before she left she said; "It's been nice to see you, if you want you can come and visit me in my office any time that you like."

With that she gave Markuz a wave, and walked out of his office, back down the corridor, a little happier from making a new friend.

Sighing contently once Willow had left, Markuz stood up to fetch his cane. An early dinner and then perhaps play some fetch with Kaiser in his classroom. He could expand his classroom for that.

Yes, he would have as nice an evening as his afternoon had been.

Glad about making a new friend, Markuz grabbed his cane and walked to dinner.
