Character Background:

Charity was happy for a while in her life, before her tail began to grow. Her parents loved her and showered her in adoration, and she went to church. She believed in God, she believed in goodness, and she loved her life. She was sheltered as a child, meaning she never had any friends before 'the event' but this never bothered her because she had her teddy - and he was like a best friend to her. She went to school and was told that she had amazing talent by all of her teacher's, and was also a lovely girl - but they were always concerned for how much of a loner she was. She never showed any prior magical abilities, and they would've all been completely shocked by the revelation that she was witch if she hadn't started to grow a tail when she was 10. By 11, she had a long, monkey's tail and was not allowed outside. She was locked in a dark room, and was told she was the 'Devil' re-incarnated in human form. When she received her Hogwart's letter, her parents locked her in a cell under the house and later sent her off to an orphanage. The ministry was aware of her magical powers, and took her off to a magical orphanage where she was schooled there, until finally she was able to be in the same room as an adult other than her teacher without screaming. She is very shy, sheltered, but friendly to anyone who speaks to her even if a little timid.
