1 - Richard hates peppers. He will not eat one, even if threatened with bodily torture. He hates the texture of them.

2 - Richard was married once before he met Briony but his first wife was killed by Richards father.

3 - Although considered one of the strongest Transfiguration wizards of modern times, Richard initially applied for the Charms position at Hogwarts but was denied the job.

4 - Richard once hi-jacked a muggle double decker bus to evade Hungarian bounty hunters in Italy.

5 - Richard is fluent in five languages; German, English, Italian, Russian and French.

6 - The happiest day of his life was marrying Briony.

Taking a leaf from Abi's book I think I'll do a rough timeline

1 - Richard is born

2 - Richard is taught the harsh ways of his family.

3 - At age 10 Richard is forced to kill one of his younger sisters by drowning her in a lake. To keep his other little sister from being killed by his older brother, a sadist to rival his father, Richard drowns her as well to give her a faster and less painful death. This haunts him to this day.

4 - Attends the Durmstrang Institute, is sorted into Verstand.

5 - Professor Rathborn, Dark Arts Professor at the time, takes Richard under his wing as his apprentice.

6 - At age fifteen Richard is considered a prodigy in the art of Transfiguration and begins to explore it beyond NEWT level.

7 - Richard graduates from the Durmstrang Institute as the highest graduate in the year.

8 - Richard is drafted into the German Magical Military and placed in a three man cell along side Luther Amsel and Leon Becker.

9 - Due to a marriage contract Richard is married to his first wife.

10 - Richard's team goes off radar for two weeks before returning without any injuries. Case is logged as mysterious but the investigation finds nothing. They continue active duty.

11 - Richard's first wife is killed by Richard's father. Finally pushed too far by his family, Richard kills every member of his family. He keeps his father alive for three days, torturing him the whole time.

12 - On a black-ops mission in Romania, Richard and his team are ordered to slaughter the inhabitants of a small village for supplying Romanian terrorists who are against Magical Germany. He refuses and goes rouge.

13 - For a few years Richard is on the run from Romanian and Hungarian bounty hunters. He meets Cobalt Smith and works with him for a time before they part ways. The parting of the ways is down to Cobalt putting a bullet in Richard's left knee over a disagreement.

14 - Detouring to Britain, Richard meets Briony Romain (then Blake) and falls in love with her. He officially defects from Germany to Britain.

15 - Richard becomes the Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts.
