Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Lesson One - Fifth Years

Post by Richard Romain Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:04 am

Richard whistled a little bit as he idly played with a marble on his desk. He was a little concerned about his wife. Actually he was a lot concerned but once he'd put on his 'teaching mask' it appeared as though he was only casually worried.

Not to mention is was OWL year for these students. He had to admit that he'd hate to be in their shoes, OWL year was hell.

Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fifth Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:54 am

Charlotte hurried into the classroom, she was more than a little worried about the OWLS that she woudl be having to take this year, however she knew that if she revised well enough that she would be able to do well in the exams, the problem was getting herself to actually believe that.

With a small sigh she sent a smile at the professor, before getting out all of her books and flipping a few pages into the text books, to give her something to keep her mind occupied with before the lesson started, it would be a while she thought, as she was the first one here.

Airen entered the Transfiguration classroom. He saw that Charlotte and himself were the only ones there. He raised an eyebrow curiously. He shrugged and sat down next to Charlotte, flashing her a quick smile before he took out his text book. "Good morning, Professor," he greeted, kindly.

Airen idly flipped the pages in his textbook. He waited for the class to begin patiently.

Richard saw his two favourite students, Charlotte and Airen. Smiling a little bit, he moved to the front of his desk and greeted them,

"Hey guys. Good summer?" he asked them with a smile before chuckling, "Well I hope it was because this year is going to be anything but fun guys. It's OWL year after all. You'll spend more time revising than you will sleeping this year. To that end can either of you tell me what kind of test your exam will be for Transfiguration? Written or practical?"

Airen thought about the OWLs. He had studied a bit during the summer, but he was still a little nervous. He was confident he would do well, but more studying couldn't hurt.

"I think it will be practical, Professor," Airen replied, a bit unsure. He was preparing himself for anything this year.

Charlotte smiled gently when she heard Uncle Richard beginning the lesson, mentioning her owls was something that she had hoped to avoid, she was so nervous about them already, however she knew that she needed to face the exams sooner rather than later.

When Airen answered the question, Charlotte nodded her head with a small smile on her lips;

"I think that I will be mostly practical, but there might be some questions about when you might use a certain transfiguration spell that we get asked before the practical side." she mused.

Naomi silently slid into the classroom, hoping to any diety known that her professor wouldn't notice her sliding into the classroom. She quickly sat at her desk at the back and pulled out her ink, parchment, quill, wand and textbook, placing them all on her desk.

Her attention was quickly brought forwards when her Professor mention OWL's. Groaning she didn't let that information get to her. She would just do what she could and she would keep up with her studies.

"I think it might be both, Professor." She spoke in a soft yet loud voice. Her eyes staying on the front.
