Potions Lesson Two - Fourth Years
Evangeline was once again sat in the office that she had been given by Briony, it was strange the way that she had been asked yet again to come and cover for potions, she was so sure that when she started talking about where all the students friends were now residing in the afterlife...she would not be asked back.
With a small sigh she waited for the students to arrive and she wondered how many she was going to get showing up today, she thought that none of them would likely turn up, but then again they might decide to get themselves here.
On the board in her neat and small writing, the potion they were brewing today was written;
'Invisibility Potion'

Lucas entered the classroom and sighed. He was extremely tired. He had been reading the past night. He sat on one of the seats and glanced at the board. There, he saw today's lesson topic.

Re: Potions Lesson Two - Fourth Years
Evangeline looked at the one student in her class and almost wanted to walk out of the room and leave, she had so much work to do in other areas it was hardly worth staying to teach ONE human how to create a potion they could do themselves with enough determination.
With a small sigh, she turned and wrote the method for the potion up on the board and when she was done she tapped her fingers on the blackboard to gain the students attention.
"Today you are brewing an invisibility potion, all ingredients are at the front for you. Begin."
Invisibility Potion
Ingredients
-4 cups of cherries
- 2 hands full of Demiguise fur
- 1 Ashwinder Egg
- 1 cup of Agrippa
- 1 ounce of Antimony
- one handful (around 5) of Butterscotch
- 12 Dittany
- 10 fairy wings
Directions
1) Put cauldron over 60 degrees fire and wait till you feel the heat clearly.
2) Put in the Ashwinder egg, and the cup of Agrippa.
3) Mix thoroughly until whisked together smoothly.
4) Add the handful of butterscotch, one at a time, if more than one added at once, it will harden and ruin the potion.
5) Mash cherries until a paste and slip it in, a bright pink color should occur.
6) Lower flame by 10 degrees and add the fairy wings, make sure it isn't too hot or they will flame up.
7) Cut the dittany into each piece a centimeter, avoid any cuts or anything that will prevent it from ruining the experiment.
8 ) Add the ounce of Antimony, and you will see how it will cool down considerably.
9) Mix thoroughly and once it's nicely done, and smooth and thin liquid, add the Demiguise fur.
10) Mix until it mixes and the fur can no longer be seen.
11) Turn off flames and put them in vials and turn in at next lesson.

Re: Potions Lesson Two - Fourth Years
Lucas nodded and stood up to get the ingredients once the instructions were on the board. He went back to his seat and organized his things before starting. He looked at the board and started making the potion.
He set the cauldron's temperature over 60 degrees, until he could feel the heat. He then put in the ashwinder egg and the cup of agrippa. Lucas mixed it until it was whisked together smoothly. He took a handful of butterscotch, being careful to do it one at a time. Afterwards, he mashed the cherries until it became a bright pink paste. He slipped it inside the cauldron and looked up at the board for the next instruction.
Lucas lowered the flame by 10 degrees and added the fairy wings, making sure it was exactly lowered 10 degrees before doing so. He started cutting up the dittany into a centimeter. He then added the ounce of antimony and it suddenly cooled down.
Lucas mixed it once more until it turned smooth and thin. He added the demiguise fur, mixing it even more afterwards. The fur disappeared slowly, and he turned off the flames and put them in vials.
