Comfort of the Fire (OPEN)

Danita yawned slightly, her eyes sleepily scanning over the images in her comic book. However, she could not find sleep because her mind desperately wanted to know how it would end and so she continued to read the Spiderman comic, becoming more and more awake as the story went on and got to the climax. By the time she'd reached the end, she was no longer even remotely tired despite it being near midnight.

She shut her comic book and slipped it into her bag, replacing it for the next edition. She opened this one up and nestled back into the chair, being warmed by the orange glow of the fire. This was her favourite seat, the soft and comfy chair which was right by the fireplace and never ceased to keep her warm.

Because it was so late at night, there was only one or two other people seated in the student common room and they all seemed to be leaving her in peace - which was nice. She really needed to sleep, she had a modelling shoot tomorrow but she just couldn't be bothered even trying to sleep.
