Make it official

Andrew was really nervous about this date he was going to go on. He had not been on a actual date since he was married to Amelia. He was really nervous about doing this, he kept wondering what his wife would say to him. He knows what she would say about his treatment of the kids, but he was going to try and fix that.

He told Jas he would pick her up from her house and take her out tonight. He thought he could apparate them to a little muggle place he knew in Liverpool he hoped she liked.

Andrew arrived to her place and knocked on her door. Andrew was wearing a black pair of dress pants, a blue dress shirt with a black tie and black shoes.

Jasmin was nervous about this. It had been for a long time that she had been on a date. But there was a part of her that wondered what Jesse would say to this. But it he would still be around then she wouldn't be with Andrew.

He told her that he would pick her up at her house. She really didn't know where he was going to take her.

Jasmin then walked down and heard when someone was knocking on her door. She then smiled as she seen Andrew. She was standing there in a simple black dress and silver shoes. And that is when she started to smile.

Andrew was taken back as he looked at Jas, she was more beautiful than he ever thought about. It is amazing the things you notice when you head is clear.

"These are for you." Andrew said as he pulled out a bouquet of Lilies from behind his back.

Jasmin was looking at Andrew and noticed that he liked what he had seen. But she was loving how he was looking tonight. Maybe it was a good thing that she had stopped drinking.

She then grinned as she seen the Lilies that he gave her. " Oh they are beautiful."

Andrew could not help but smile a little he was trying to do this like he remembered. It had been so long he was not even sure what he was doing.

Jasmin was going to try and enjoy this dinner. She was going to forget how they was both yelling at each other. And she broke down crying and finally shown her feelings. Something that she hasn't done for a long time. And Jasmin was glad that Andrew was taking her to dinner, this was in the right direction for something. Who knows maybe Jasmin could love again and not be the bitch that everybody thought she is.

He then asked her if she was ready to go. " Yes I am ready." Jasmin was already wearing her coat. Since it was snowing outside. " So are you going to give me a hint we you are taking me?"

Andrew could not help but smirk when she asked where they were going,

"Now where is the fun of telling you that.". Andrew grabbed Jas and pulled her close, kissed her and then apparated them.

They arrived in a alley right around the corner of the place he wanted to take her. He took her hand and led her around to the place. The sigh said Marchello's one of the most exclusive Italian places in muggle Liverpool.

"Here we go, I hope you like Italian.". Andrew held the door open for her. Once inside he gave his name to the hostess and helped Jas out of her coat.

Jasmin then started to smirk. " Fine then dont' tell me where we are going."

She then started to pout. But that is when he kissed her and she kissed him back and they then apprated.

Jasmin then was looking around and she had no idea where they was. But then Andrew was asking if she loved Italian.

That is when she started to grin as they walk inside. And he helped her take off her coat.

When they were lead to their table Andrew went around and pulled out the chair for Jas. Granted he had never bothered before, but this was the first time he had taken her out like this and he was raised in a noble house and knew his manners after all.

Once he pushed her up to the table he walked around and took his seat and opened the menu that was in front of him. Like Andrew knew this was a very prestigious restaurant and there were no prices on the menu. It was the type of place that if you needed to know the price you probably could not afford to eat here.

"Do you have any favorite Italian dishes? I happen to love a good shrimp scampi and spaghetti."

Jasmin smiled as she sat down in the chair that was pulled out for her. This was the first time that they went out for dinner. The only thing they would do was meet up at the bar and she would end up in his bed.

She smiled as he pushed her seat in. And that is when she started to look at the menu. She then noticed that there weren’t any prices on them. But she was sure that she shouldn’t worry about that since Andrew brought her here.

“Yes I do have favorites. I love spaghetti and meatballs. “

When the waiter came back Andrew ordered a bottle of the house white wine. He could not quit with the drinking cold turkey but he would stop drinking the heavy liquor. But he knew that they would stop at one bottle.

"Well my dear you can order anything you like."

Jasmin smiled as she watched the waiter coming back. That is when they got a bottle of white wine. Jasmin knew that it would be hard to quit. But she could do it is small amounts. She knew that she would quit drinking the heavy stuff.

“ I will order whatever I want. I think that I will start with a garden salad.”

Andrew could not help but smirk threw his menu at her comment,

"Ahs yes a good course of Rabbit food is always the best place to start." Andrew was trying not to laugh.

The waiter came and opened the wine and then offered Andrew the taste so he twirled it around in the glass and smelled it then took a slight sip smacking his lips. The he nodded in agreement that it was fine. So the waiter poured two glasses of it for both of them.

"I would like your Shrimp scampi over spaghetti and a side salad with a light vinaigrette dressing." Andrew said

"And for the Lady," Andrew stop for a moment to remember who he was with and thought best to let her choice. "What ever she wants."

Jasmin then watched as Andrew was smirking. But she continued to look at her menu.

“ It isn’t rabbit food. I just happen to love salad before I eat. It is really good for you.” She couldn’t help but laugh also.

She then was watching as Andrew was doing this. Jasmin knew that he was testing the wine. This was something that she knew that people would do when they would go out to eat.

Jasmin then smiled. “ I think that I will have what the gentlemen is having. Expect I would love French dressing for my salad.”

After the waiter took their order he left and then Andrew picked up his glass so he could propose a toast.

"To fresh starts" Andrew said as he clicked her glass then took a sip.

"So my dear how are you doing right now?"

Andrew knew he was very nervous about this because he had not done anything like this in a very long time.

“To a fresh start.” That is when she clinked her glass with his and took a sip.

He then was asking her how she was doing. “ I am doing alright for know.”

Jasmin was nervous. Because she had never had a date like this before. Usually Jesse would take her to Hogsmede. But she would just smile and make the best of it.

"Well in order to get this started right, tell me a little about yourself? What do you like to do? I mean when your not drinking?"

Jasmin knew that they was going to start everything different. She wanted to make sure that this would work. She didn’t want to be a drunk with no life.

He then was asking her what she would do when she wasn’t drinking. Jasmin really wasn’t sure how to answer this question. She knew that it was a simple one but she didn’t want him to realize how much she had been hurting. Her night was visiting the room that she had set up for Jesse. “ I like to do research on muggle serial killers.”

Andrew looked at Jasmin while she was thinking. It looked like she was trying to figure out how to answer his question. It really should not be a hard question.

"Well if this is going to work at all, feel free to tell me exactly what you are thinking, I am not going to feel any less for you." Andrew said

Andre was a little taken back when she said she researched serial killers, "Any particular reason?"

Jasmin knew that this shouldn’t be all that much. But she never opened up to anybody expect Jesse. And he had been gone for a while and Jasmin wasn’t getting any younger. Her family couldn’t get off her back.

“I don’t know how to do this anymore Andrew. I never opened up to expect one person who I loved.” That is when she started to sigh.

She then was looking at Andrew. “Because it is interesting and did you know that there was a famous serial killer in London. Jack the Ripper.”

The waitress had come back with their salad and he took a drink of his wine and looked over at Jasmin.

"Do you think this is any easier for me? I was with the same woman for a long time and I don't know anything else. Next to the woman I was married to I have only been with one other woman for any amount of time"

Andrew knew this to be true, yes he had slept with other woman, but it was just Jasmin he had been with any length of time.

"I am sure it was some rogue vampire." Andrew laughed.

Jasmin then was looking at her food. She was glad getting hungry.

“So this isn’t easy for the both of us. And we know we only been with one person. But we are going to try and make this work out.” This was going to be really tough for her because the only guy she had ever was Jesse. And he had been dead for a long time. And she only had ever slept with was Andrew.

This was all true but she would have to open up to Andrew. She was tired of being all alone. Andrew was the only guy that she ever had this long. Expect Jesse.

“Wasn’t a rogue vampire, would have left marks in the neck because it would have wanted to drain the blood. The necks where cut from ear to ear. There was one women whose organs was sent to the police.”

Andrew smiled at Jas and reached his hand across the table and reached for hers. "I am willing to give this a try if you are? I want happy and I know if you give me the chance I will make you happy. We had happy once maybe we can find it together again." he said as squeezed her hand.

"After dinner would you care for a walk down by the dock?" Andrew looked up at her.

Taking a bite he sort of cringed at the thought of the jack story she was telling. "That is very true, but s slice across something is a good way to hide other evidence."

Andrew knew this method all too well.

Jasmin smiled as he reached over and grabbed her hands. “ I would be willing to try anything. I just want to be happy again. And I guess that I could give you a chance.” She was still smiling as he gave her hands a small squeeze.

“That sounds like a great thing to do dinner and a walk.”

She then saw how he was cringing when she was telling how jack the ripper. “ Yes that could also be true too. But I am sure that a vampire wouldn’t remove any of the organs.”
