Character Background:

Stephen Smith grew up in a family where everybody was a witch or wizard except for his mum. She had been used to the wizarding world for quite a while though, and considered herself a part of it. Their family was a surprisingly normal family despite the wars that had taken place in recent years. It hadn't effected them directly, they all came out alright. Sure they did their best to help and end it, but they weren't in the front lines.

Growing up Steve was close to his seven years older sister Guinevere. They loved doing things together and he missed her when she was off at Hogwarts without him. Even though she lived on her own now he still looks up to her more than he does anybody else. From time to time they get together and hang out even when he's at Hogwarts.

His favorite things to do are running, Quidditch, reading, singing, and playing the piano. He's going to try out for his house quidditch team this year and hopefully make up. Steve's an avid reader and his books range from psychology to science fiction and everywhere in between. What he enjoys most though is music, and he loves singing and playing the grand piano in their home. He plays popular music from both wizards and muggles as well as writes his own.
