Lesson Four - Combined

Darcie, being Darcie, had been having a rather hard time in her personal life at the moment, her relationship with Luther seemed to be hanging by a thread and she didn't know what she could do to help him feel better about what had happened that night, they had talked it through but it seemed that the feelings were still there, at least, he still seemed to feel them.

She was beginning to get rather desperate now and was even looking towards forgetfulness potions and maybe taking him to the nearest magical hospital to have the memories removed that way, whatever she decided, she knew she needed to get him some help from someone who wasn't her, maybe one of the friends he told her about? Although with both of them being highly important people...they weren't going to want to talk to her were they?

Sighing she pouted softly and finished painting ducks on her nails, it was her new hobby, nail art. She was getting quite good at it. Blowing on the varnish she waited for her classes to arrive.

Aquila felt disgust as she stared at herself in the reflection of one of the mirrors upon the walls as she walked determinedly towards her soothsaying class. She needed to cure herself, she didn't want to waste away anymore. Her skin was pale and tight around her bones, her eyes sunken and hollow with bags under them. Her once wavy hair was now limp and she looked terrible.

She sat down at the front of the classroom and weakly smiled at Darcie before resting her chin on her arms and waiting for the lesson to begin.

Christielle shuffled into the classroom, rubbing her eyes, then looked around. Combined classes again. Christi sighed, greeted Professor Vane "good morning," and sat down on her usual chair. She looked around and saw the the girl whom she saw earlier, in her Dark Arts class.

Christi stifled a huge yawn as she waited for the lesson to begin.

Darcie lifted her head and smiled at her two favourite students when they arrived, Aquila looked like she had had a rough night last night, she hoped that she wasn't ill or something, but was sure that she would tell her if she needed help, and she wouldn't take kindly if she pried...

Smiling again, she turned to the two students and moved to sit closer to them for a more personal lesson;

"Hi you guys, it's nice to see you, I hope you had a lovely holiday." she greeted warmly "Now Christielle today you are going to be learning about cleromancy, and Aquila we're going to be doing some readings of each other, with whichever soothsaying method you feel most comfortable with."

Opening the cupboard that contained the matierals she continued;

"While you get whatever you need from the cupboard, Aquila, Christielle why don't you tell me what you already know about Cleromancy?"

Christi didn't know much about Cleromancy, but she recited what she knew anyways. "Cleromancy is a form of divination using sortition, casting of lots, or casting bones or stones, in which an outcome is determined by means that normally would be considered random, such as the rolling of dice, but are sometimes believed to reveal the will of God, or other supernatural entities."
