Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Lesson One - Fifth Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Sun Jan 06, 2013 11:25 pm

Cobalt faded into view, walking through one of the solid walls that separated his office from his classroom, rolling his arm up and then out again in an attempt to work the muscles out again. His technique seemed to be getting more and more out of control. He really hoped that he never had to rely on it in battle because it would be just his luck that the technique would end or backfire just when he needed it the most.

Sighing a little bit he went to sit behind his desk to await the arrival of his class. The little bundels of energy would be here any minute now. Which was exactly why he reached into one of the desk drawers and pulled out a thermos of coffee. Nyos knew he would need it. He wasn't as young as he used to be after all and, by most counts, should be dead. He'd need the coffee for the energy.

Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fifth Years

Post by Senium Nex Wed Jan 09, 2013 12:42 am

Senium wandered into her lesson, she was happy to be back at school, but she was happy for another reason also, she had finally found something she would be good at apart from dancing, something that would help the people in the society around her. She was going to clean up the streets and had started to do so already, and nobody knew that it was her, that was the fun part!

Sighing happily she bounced towards her seat, flipping her hair behind her shoulders, she could now revel in herself, her new magnificent body that wasn't making her in pain whenever she tried to move even the littlest bit, she had even gotten the hang of using magic with her body again.

Smiling at the professor, she got ready to start the lesson.

Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fifth Years

Post by Marylin Mason Wed Jan 09, 2013 12:54 am

Marylin stalked her way into the classroom, she was getting more and more worried about the man that she had met in Knockturn Alley and she knew that she needed to speak to Nicholas about him, maybe she would find him after this lesson was done? They were hanging out more in public now, and he was slowly coming out of his shell which made her happier than she was before.

Not bothering to greet anybody else she sat down at her desk and she took out her quills, waiting for the lesson to begin. She wondered what spell she would be learning today this lesson was nowhere near the sort of things she was used to, but she was going to give it a go. It was her first year of exams after all, she had to do well.

Lesson One - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Fifth Years

Cobalt nodded to both Senium and Marylin as he started the lesson, moving to the front of the class, to the blackboard, to write on it in chalk,

"OWLs. You all knew that this day was coming right? The day where you'd get some crappy introductory speech about the OWLs?" he shrugged, "Yeah well I'm going to skip that."

He tapped the board with his wand and it cleared itself. He pointed to the board and a new word appeared,

"Shadows! They are your greatest friend in Infiltration." he told them quietly, "Blend into shadows, the grey areas, and you're more invisible than if you stand in total darkness. Why? Because the human mind, if it sees you, will right you off as something that belongs. Because shadows play tricks of course. Who's to say they can't look like a concealed person?"

He chuckled a little bit,

"This spell will make you blend in with shadows better. Basically it makes you appear to... blurr at the edges. Better blending you into the grey of the shadows." he told them, "Incantation is Bananal. Yes I am aware it's spanish for banana. The inventor had a sense of humour. Wand motions are; right flick, left flick, down flick, down flick, jab at own stomach. Got it? Give it a try."
