Background Information:

Born to a Eurasian father and a mother from Doha, Zarna is exactly what one would call a clash of cultures. Her family tree includes a French grandfather (paternal), and an Indian grandmother (also paternal) which makes her father a Eurasian. She herself is a healthy mix of her mother and grandmother.

Zarna was brought up in France for the majority of her life. She completed degrees in Journalism, Creative Writing and Political Science (after graduating from the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic) from the prestigious École Normale Supérieure de Lyon which she attended alongside Muggles and Wizards alike. All this while, she was also working part time at a low scale fashion magazine in Lyon to earn some extra gold. During her postgraduate studies in Political Science and Journalism, she was offered a much better Job at a major paper in Paris and took it without hesitation.

Currently, Zarna has relocated to Germany to work for The Times who offered her a wonderful and financially rewarding job as a field reporter. Her view on the war is unbiased and she often feels detached from the things happening around her which she admits is good for her job. She works professionally and has been known to get the story where many others failed to.

Zarna is extremely private and hates discussing her life outside of work with anyone. She keeps in touch with her family sporadically, her friends even less, misses her boyfriend, Pierre and makes sure to make deadlines as well as headlines.
