Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Airen Auditoren Wed Jan 18, 2012 1:59 pm

Airen walked into the Room of Requirement. His thoughts were along the lines of needing a place to train. When he looked around, he noticed that everything was just as he needed it to be. A forge was on the far wall. To the left of him were training swords, and to the right was a sparring ring. He unsheathed his sword. Laying it down on a nearby table, he took off his cloak. He wore his Hogwarts uniform underneath.

Taking a deep breath, he walked over to the forge. Let time not forget me.

Pxyis entered the Room of Requirement slowly, and she quickly spotted Airen. She took in the room, and wasn't surprised to see the RoR was completely ready for their training. Airen was standing by the forge, and so Pxyis cleared her throat lightly and felt nerves make her stomach curl and she looked down at her feet.

She breathed in deeply, and calmed herself before looking back up and smiling at Airen. "Hey, Airen," she greeted him.

Charlotte had been looking forward to this meeting, she knew that it would be a great lesson because Airen would be teaching it, and she had confidence in him even if he didn't have much confidence in himself.

Walking into the room she saw that Pyxis and Airen were already there and Charlotte flushed a little, hoping that she hadn't made them late or something.

"Hey Airen, hey Pyxis. I'm sorry if I held you guys up or anything." she smiled shyly and rubbed the back of her pixie crop hair, completely different to her long locks she used to have.

"Hello, Pyxis and Charlotte, welcome. Now, I have a question before we begin. Do any of you have any formal training with a sword?" Airen asked. He walked over the rack of training swords. He motioned for them to come over.

"The reason I asked this, is to get an idea of where we should start. I'm not just going to give you a sword and teach you blocks and strikes. First, we'll start with these training swords. They've been dulled so as to have a less likelihood of injury," he explained. He grabbed two swords, and handed each to Pyxis and Charlotte. He also grabbed some training armor. He gave a set to each of the girls.

"You may find that the path of a swordmage is not for you. Don't be disappointed. You have your whole lives ahead of you," he said kindly.

Upon being asked if she had any formal training with a sword, Pxyis frowned. She hadn't ever touched a sword, let alone trained with one. "I've never actually held a sword," said Pxyis with a light blush splayed across her cheeks. She felt ridiculous. Here she was, attempting to learn how to be a Sword Mage and she'd never even held a sword.

Ridiculous, she told herself. She ought to just stick to training her control of Fire and Air, instead of wasting Airen's time in training her when she had no previous skills. She wasn't even sure if she'd be any good at it.

Charlotte shook her head, unfortunately she had no training with blades and it was something that she hadn't really thought about, of course she had trained with shorter blades but the sword might be cumbersome for someone so small as she.

"No I'm sorry I don't have any training before this with swords, only daggers, and they're a bit different."

When Airen handed her the armour Charlotte smiled happily and slipped it on, placing her sword on the floor until after she was done, now picking it up she swung it slightly noting how heavy it was in her hand.

"Thank you Air, hopefully I can do a good job and make you proud of me."

Charlotte smiled even wider and held the sword firmly ready for whatever he told her to do.

Airen smiled. His job was easier in his eyes. They could start from square one. He didn't have to figure out where they were. He placed a hand on both of their shoulders.

"This is nothing to be ashamed of. Not many people our age have even handled a blade. There's nowhere to go but up," he said smiling. He grabbed a training blade off the rack. Testing the weight of it by swinging it in a circle on his right, he found it to be in good weight.

"I want you to attack me. This way, we can see where you need to improve before you actually handle a real blade. He put one foot forward and raised his hands above his head. He rotated his wrists to where the sword was facing in the direction where he was looking.

"When you're ready."

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Thu Jan 19, 2012 7:42 pm

Charlotte looked at Airen as if he had three heads, did he really just say that they should attack him? She knew automatically that she would not do so with her full force because she did not want to hurt Airen even though she knew she probably wouldn't, he would disarm her immediately.

"Uhm, are you sure about that Airen?" she asked timidly just to make sure that he did in fact want her to do that before she worked up the courage to.

Biting her lip Charlotte raised her sword and gulped slightly before lunging forward and jabbing the sword in short sharp motions towards as many different vitals as she could, none of the jabs were very strong, as she was still nervous, but at least she was doing some sort of attack.

Keeping her thrusts short with the blade so that it couldn't be easily disarmed Charlotte frowned and continued to try to get a hit on Airen.

"I'm sure. I've been hurt a lot worse than a scratch," Airen said. He knew that would spark interest. He believed that Charlotte was ready to learn of his past. He thought that Pyxis would make a good friend, but he'd try to get to know her better before he trusted her with that knowledge.

He calmly swiped the attack aside. She kept stabbing at him, and he kept parrying them aside. He evaluated the way she stabbed. She kept them quick, sharp, and precise. Deciding that he had gathered enough knowledge about how to train her, on her next thrust, he parried, and then, he curved his sword around hers. Her wrists rolled, and when they had rolled enough, he flicked the blade to the right, sending the sword flying away and landing with a clang.

"Good job, Charlotte. I must say, you have potential," he said kindly while patting her shoulder gently. "Don't worry about being disarmed. As I said, there's nowhere to go but up. This was just to see your style and what form suits you best," he continued smiling.

Airen walked up to Pyxis. He adopted the same stance.

"When you're ready, Pyxis. Do what feels right," he advised.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Guest Fri Jan 20, 2012 1:47 pm

Pxyis was shocked when Airen told them to attack him. He couldn't be serious! Pxyis bit down on her lower lip nervously. She worried, for lately her control on her elements was beginning to slip. She still could, but now her emotions were also able to manipulate her elemental control, and if she panicked her powers might attack him and she didn't want that.

She watched and analysed as Charlotte battled Airen. Her swipes were short and sharp, but Airen retaliated easily to each of her strikes and he easily managed to get his sword around hers and fling it away from her. Pxyis sighed and felt nervous for her own turn as she waited for Airen to complete talking to Charlotte with dread.

Pxyis sucked in a deep breath when he told her to fight him, and slowly she raised her sword. It was heavier than she thought it would be and she swung it a couple of time to herself to get used to the feeling before getting into a ready stance and striking, like Charlotte she made her swipes short and sharp before she quickly pulled back, except she used her skills in battle with a wand (She had often practiced with her father before he got too busy with his work) and danced around him, swiping behind him.

She knew he would easily defeat her as she danced around him and swiped at him, still feeling a bit clumsy with the sword but attempting her best. Her eyes narrowed in concentration as she jumped forwards, feigned a left swipe but suddenly turned and swiped right, hoping to catch him off guard. The swipe was clumsy, she noted. Pxyis kept a tight leash on her powers that wanted to aid her in defeating him, but that would be most un-fair of her to set him alight.

When Charlotte was disarmed she wasn't surprised, she was more grateful however because she didn't think that she would have lasted this long against someone who is that good, where as she didn't have that much sword experiance in comparison.

Airen said that she had potential and she beamed happily and she wrapped her arms around him in a swift hug, not upset that she had been disarmed at all and she moved to the side to watch Pyxis duel with Airen this time.

"Thank you Airen, I hope to only get better under your teaching!" she said happily

Watching Pyxis almost dance with her blade she wondered about her technique, it was very artful, but the swings would be pretty easy to interrupt and parry, she could see how she could be disarmed but she didn't know if she was correct or not.

Either way she was doing very eloquent moves and Charlotte wished they could do them.

"Good luck Pyxis." Charlotte shouted happily

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Sé onr sverdar sitja hvass!

Post by Humphrey Williams Sat Jan 21, 2012 4:52 am

Humphrey Williams had been exploring the sixth floor of hogwarts when very faintly he heard the sound of metal striking metal. He walked towards the sound and it became the slightest bit louder. He heard a voice that sounded like Airen inside, his fellow gryffindor first year. Curious, he wondered where the sound was coming from. He listened, not above him, not below him, it was coming from directly in front of him. Hmm, there must be a trap door or something hidden in this wall. He ran his fingers over the wall but found absolutely nothing. He started pacing back and forth and thinking to himself Let me in you stupid wall. On his third pass in front of the spot he heard the sounds coming from an opening appeared. The sounds got louder, and it was indeed Airen, and he was fighting a girl he recognized as a slytherin first year with a sword!

He rushed into the room and the opening instantly closed behind him. "What is going on! You could kill each other! What on earth could provoke you to attack each other with swords?" he asked Airen. Humphrey addressed Airen because he was clearly the skilled swordsman of the two fighting. Barely even trying, he easily blocked all of the blonde's dance-like attacks against him. Then without any apparent effort he cross her blade, twisted her wrist, and then ripped the sword back the opposite direction. The blonde slytherin who he thought was named Pxyis' sword was ripped out of her hand and hit the stone floor with a metallic clang.

"Wow, impressive Airen. How long have you studies swordplay?" he asked his fellow gryffindor. "Never mind, it doesn't matter how long you have been a swordsman. You are clearly skilled and that is what is important. I was angry just a second ago, but now I want to cross blades with you. Now I just need a sword." He imagined what his sword should look like since this was what he knew to be the room of requirement. He had heard rumors about this room. Imagining the sword Brisingr from the Inheritance Cycle he imagined he felt his arms drop to the ground with a sudden weight. There in his hand was the sword Brisingr that Christopher Paolini, a muggle author had invented. He knew that if he said its name aloud it would burst into flames. But he imagined the flames being a bright purple instead of blue and shouted, "Brisingr!" A neon purple light illuminated the Room of Requirement with a flash. Humphrey imagined it not quite so bright of a purple and the light dimmed. Now he could see.

Since he could control the flame of the sword with his mind he was confident the flames would not burn him. The sword was slightly shorter than he would like so he imagined it about three inches longer. It grew until it reached the length he wanted. There we go, perfect. Somehow the sword felt perfectly suited to him. He wondered is the author Christopher Paolini had ever imagined wielding the sword Brisingr and being able to control the flames it made. Probably, he concluded. "Brisingr." he said again and the flame was extinguished. "Defend yourself, Airen!" he yelled.

Humphrey knew he had the physical advantage in this battle because of his years as a basketball player. But Airen had the skill and experience, and that was the more important of the two. Humphrey Williams had multiple books on the theory of swordplay despite the fact he had never picked up a blade before today. Starting with a simple lunge and cross cut he realized at the last moment that his sword would cut through Airen's because of the brightsteel and other enchantments Brisingr possessed. To his total surprise however, when Airen's blade met his it was not even slightly damaged. So, his sword must be special as well.
He switched into a series of agrippa attack forms. He kept his hands wide to give hime quicker speed and torque though it limited his range. Airen applied the Bonetti Defense flawlessly.

Airen's blade was a true broadsword and was heavier and longer than Brisingr. He decided to change tactics. He slowly put some space between them while doing basic stabs and slashes. Then he backed off completely and Airen's blade met air. Perfect he thought, "Now I have you right where I want you Airen." he said with confidence. He began slowly walking around Airen to examine the footwork he used. Just as he thought, flawless precision in his steps like that of a classic swordsman. But Eragon the wielder of Brisingr in the fantasy novel was not a classic swordsman. He had defeated opponents by teasing them with one form and learning his opponent. Then completely changing attack style. It was risky but if done properly almost impossible to stop.

He switched into a sword form from a different series of books called the Wheel of Time series. Author Robert Jordan had given each sword form a unique name and he had memorized every technique listed in the books so he could imagine the battles properly. He slipped into a sword form called Sheathing the Sword. It was a form that allowed the other opponent to win a hit while you attacked. An almost foolproof way of scoring a hit on your opponent. But dangerous and only used as a last result. However, Humphrey had a brilliant idea. Combining the form Sheathing the Sword with a form that was a series of overhead attacks titled Boar Rushes Down the Mountain.

Sure enough, when he began to lunge Airen moved his sword into a downward swipe to knock the sword away. He then saw the opening and moved to attack. But before the Airen's sword deflected his lunge Humphrey Williams improvised into Boar Rushes Down the Mountain by swiftly and sharply arcing his sword up and around Airen's broadsword. He twisted his left side with a quick step behind his right leg. He had done that every basketball practice multiple times up and done the basketball court. It was called a grapevine. He thought the battle was over and he had won, he had perfectly anticipated Airen's reaction. But to his surprise Airen's lunge was a feint, and he learned his shoulder back so that Humphrey was directing his slash at thin air. His stance was now with his left foot behind him and learning to his right to avoid my slash on the left. Easily, he crosscut at his chest and stopped it before making contact with Humphrey's wizard robes.

"Excellent battle! I thought I had you there for a second. What was that move you did. I have never heard or seen anything like it before in my life? Will you please train me?" he asked.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 5:17 am

Charlotte blinked slowly and as she heard the door open she gasped in fright and her cat ears popped up out of the top of her head, she watched as the boy from the tower Humphrey she remembered, entered, she winced at his angry tone and she even felt her ears flatten to her head.

Sucking at her lip piercing nervously she gasped and moved over from where she was standing to look at the fight that was going on, she couldn't believe that this was happening! What was he doing?!

"Stop it! Stop it what are you doing?!"

She yelled at the boy and she saw her cat ears stand up on end, her tail even popped out at one point and Charlotte squeaked in fright, instead of standing at the sidelines while they were fighting Charlotte came up behind Humphrey and whacked him at the back of his head, hard.

"You can't just come in here and start fighting with Airen! One! It was Pyxis' turn! Two! Are you even supposed to be here?! And three! Airen didn't tell you to go yet even if you are supposed to be here."

Charlotte fumed, her hair bright red, and her eyes flaring with anger.

"I suggest you apologise. I am sorry for hitting you but you really do need to hold back!"

(OOC: Hey Humphrey ^^
Sorry to be a bind but you God-Modded a bit in your post there where you wrote what Airen did in retaliation to your attacks, could you perhaps take them out so you can have a fair fight? ^^

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Excuse Me! I will not apologize!

Post by Humphrey Williams Sat Jan 21, 2012 5:56 am

"Ouch!!!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. He spun around and there was Charlotte Smith, the girl whom he had met in the abandoned tower. "What was that for, I was just having a duel with an accomplished swordmage. He defeated me, and nobody was hurt. I don't see what the problem is."

"Excuse me! I will not apologize! And I certain will not hold back, Airen and I were in the heat of battle. If i would have held back I would have been injured more than likely. The way I remember things occurring is walking in and witnessing Airen disarm Pxyis Wilson. The sword had hit the floor and the duel was over. Then I challenged Airen because he is my Gryffindor comrade and I wanted to see which of us was the better! But you don't seem to understand the concept of competition, Charlotte. And I have every right to be here. Though I was late for the meeting of the Shadow Society I came in at the end and heard the invitation by Airen to teach us how to become a swordmage. Now, if you will please let me ask Airen if he thinks I did anything wrong." he said in a very know-it-all manner.

"Airen, have I in any way disrupted your session with these Slytherin ladies?" he spat out the word Slytherin with a clear tone of hate in his voice. Now he saw why Gryffindors hated Slytherins. Charlotte Smith just couldn't help from butting in and trying to take over the situation.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:12 am

Charlotte felt her hair turn back to White then to a shade of blue, sniffling slightly she looked at the floor, of course it was her fault, it was always her fault just like her parents had always said to her and she bit her lip, blinking rapidly.

"I..."

She felt her voice crack and Charlotte took off her armour, placed it on the table and she lay her sword down beside it, this was a big mistake she knew it, she should have just stayed at Silent Corner, now Airen would be mad at her.

"I'm sorry." she whispered "It just didn't look like you'd given Pyxis the chance to get away or for Airen to even respond before you began, forgive me."

Charlotte softly began to cry at the horrible way that Humphrey had spoken to her, her cat ears flat against her head Charlotte kept her gaze on the floor and didn't look up, so her pearly tears fell straight onto the floor, discolouring it slightly.

"Forgive me Airen, Pyxis, I...I had better go I don't want to d-disrupt your lesson."

Shoulders shaking slightly with her sobs Charlotte went to pick up her bag.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty No. Don't Leave, It's My Fault

Post by Humphrey Williams Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:34 am

Humphrey cursed himself in his head for being so ignorant of Charlotte Smith's feelings. He quickly rushed over to her before she could leave the Room of Requirement. He put a hand on her shoulder and looked at her. "Listen, please. This is not your fault. I barged in here freaked out, and then acted impulsively. If anybody is to blame for what just happened it is me. But, it does no good to decide whose fault this is. It is mine mainly in my opinion, though if I had to point the finger anywhere."

He watched the tears start to fall down Charlotte's face, and felt more guilt than he had every felt in his life. How could he be so darn stupid, this girl was just defending her friends. Humphrey Williams realized that he had feelings for Charlotte. Whether they were friendship, or stronger than friendship he wasn't sure. The emotions were too confusing. But of one thing, he was sure. He needed to fix the damage he had caused. He felt instinctively a desire to console this girl. His feelings of this were so strong he didn't even think about the words that poured out.

"No. Don't leave, it's my fault Charlotte. I-I kind of got carried away when I realized this was the Room of Requirement. I had heard rumors about it and I decided to bring my very favorite magical sword into my hand. Then I felt my Gryffindor fearlessness rise up and I just couldn't stop myself from challenging, Airen. Don't cry, please. Just stay, I'll even leave if you will stay instead. You were here first. But we should both stay. I don't know why, but for some reason I feel like you are special. The most special girl I have ever met. If I ever explode on you again hex me, okay?" he told her.

Ever so slowly the sense of guilt started to diminish and then finally disappear. That was the best he could do. Now, it was up to Charlotte.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:48 am

Charlotte felt a warm hand on her shoulder and she stopped, expecting it to be Airen but it wasn't, it was Humphrey, and she blinked a little, confused by the change in his attitude and she looked at him in the eyes, glad that it seemed that he was a little remorseful.

Smiling slightly through her tears Charlotte dried them on her sleeve and she sniffled slightly to clear her eyes.

Although she was really glad that he was apologising Charlotte didn't expect him to go this far and she blushed a little her hair turning a light shade of pink, her tail disappearing and she bit her lip to restrain a happy giggle.

"It's okay Humphrey, I understand that sometimes people get carried away and do things they don't mean to, I'm sorry for hitting you, I...I hope it doesn't hurt too much."

Charlotte blushed even more and smiled shyly, pressing her hand to her cheek, unable to stop the grin that developed permanently on her cheeks.

"I am? Well, this is the nicest thing anyones ever said to me! Thank you so very much! I would like you to stay, although, I don't think I'll duel with you just yet, you'd beat me hands down!"

Smiling happily Charlotte wrapped her arms around Humphrey: "Forgiven and forgotten ne?" she asked.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Airen Auditoren Sat Jan 21, 2012 9:24 am

Airen was shocked when Humphrey burst in. He then switched to battle mode when Humphrey butted his way into the lesson and attacked him. When the skirmish was over, and Humphrey insulted Charlotte, Airen was ready to lash out. Anger seeped from him in waves. If you looked closely, you could see faint wisps of smoke coming from his diamond blade. Who did this guy think he was, strutting in here, interrupting the lesson, and insulting his friend. Putting aside the need to show him the full extent of his power, Airen rushed over to Charlotte and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't leave. As I said, you're strong. You only need to stand, and you will see that," he said comfortingly. When Humphrey and Charlotte began talking and what seemed to be flirting, Airen felt a huge surge of sadness. Forever a shadow. he thought to himself. He painted a smile on his face and watched them interact. He felt tears beginning to form in his eyes. He controlled them. His sense of honor overriding the jealousy that welled up inside of him. He remembered something his aunt said to him.

If you love some one, let them go. If they don't return, they were never yours to begin with.

Airen sighed. Sheathing his sword, he returned to where he was at the beginning of the lesson.

"Before all this drama," he said trying to sound kind. "I was going to instruct you on forging your own sword. Simply just walk over to the forge and close your eyes. You will feel magic create the blade for you," he finished.

"Sadly, no one can be present as the power released when the blade is complete may harm others. For now the lesson is over. I'll let you know when to next meet," he said. He walked to the door. He placed his hand on the door when the first tear broke through his control. He slammed the door. He needed a place to himself. He didn't notice his journal falling to the floor of the Room of Requirement. He just needed a place to become a sad pitiful excuse for a warrior.

(OOC: Humphrey, the thread said invite only. You did nothing wrong, just be aware of that next time. The journal that fell, well, just read my student profile. Let me know when to start posting entries.)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 9:52 am

Charlotte bit her lip and stopped the brief hug with Humphrey to look at Airen, she smiled softly at him and wandered over to stand by him, after all she wanted to see if her friend was okay, she didn't think that he looked his normal self.

"Thank you Airen, I know that I'll be able to do it if you teach me how."

When Airen finished the lesson Charlotte knew that something was wrong and she reached a hand out to stop him but she was too late, he had passed her by on his way to the door, Charlottes heart jumped a little.

"Wait Air! Air! Did I do something wrong? Pl-"

As the door slammed Charlotte sat down on the floor and hugged her knees to her chest, she didn't know why Airen was so upset but she wanted to find out lest she lose him her first friend here.

"I hope he's okay..." she whispered as she sniffles.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty The Dropped Journal

Post by Humphrey Williams Sat Jan 21, 2012 2:16 pm

As Airen stormed out of the room he noticed a book fall to the floor. It was a deep maroon and appeared to be worn at the ends but well taken care of. He opened the book to the first page. Journal of Airen Auditoren, a first year Gryffindor. If found please return unread. "Hmm, interesting." He pocketed the journal in his right robe pocket. "Well, it seems that Airen was indeed upset by my intrusion. I will apologize to him before I go to bed. We share a dorm. Now, are you okay? I knew you were friends with Airen and didn't intend to come between you two in any way." he explained to her.

He reached out to her. He placed his right hand over her left in a consoling way. "You do realize that you were right. I should have listened to you. Apparently, you understand Airen better than I do as of yet. Now what is going on with you guys? He seemed to be freaking out. If you are an item I'll back off. Anything I can do to help, you let me know Charlotte. Just say the word and I woud do whatever you want. If you don't believe me then tell me to do something. No matter what is, save for dark magic, I will do it." he said to her. The pain he could see on that lovely face of hers was his fault. It was his job to replace it with a smile.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:14 pm

Charlotte looked up at Humphrey and she smiled softly, she didn't really know why Airen had left, she hoped that he wasn't annoyed with her in any way, after all she didn't do anything that bad, or so she thought.

"I don't know what's wrong with him but he might need some space, I'll find him tomorrow and ask him. Oh me? I'm okay, I just hate it when people get upset with me."

Smiling softly Charlotte wiped at her eyes to rid them of a few obscure tears and she blushed a little bit when Humphrey placed his hand on her own, trying to control it Charlotte placed her other hand on top of his.

"Well we met on the train to Hogwarts, he's my best friend, I think he just got a bit annoyed that you flipped at me, when I tell him I'm alright he should calm down."

A little befuddled by the way in which Humphrey was acting Charlotte didn't think he needed to prove anything to her, but what he said made her blush furiously:

"An item? Me and Air? N-no we aren't going out...were just good friends."

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Well, Good To Know

Post by Humphrey Williams Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:49 pm

"Oh, you aren't. Well, good to know that for future reference. You see, well...I-I was wondering if m-m-maybe we could...y-you know, go on a-a date sometime. I know that I am odd, and well, not the smoothest guy at Hogwarts. But, I like you, a lot, and I think that, maybe if you like me too we could try one date. If it doesn't go well, then I will not bug you with a date request again. I promise to remain friends with you if we break up or the date does not end well. That is, if you wish to remain friends of course. What do you say to The Three Broomsticks, Saturday night at 8 p. m.? I would meet you at either the slytherin dorms or anywhere you wish to meet before walking to hogsmeade together. I am yours to do with, as you wish." he said. At the end he could not help but spit out a date and time. Asking her on a date just felt, right somehow.

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Pxyis was shocked and stunend as she stood completely still whilst this crazy looking Gryffindor boy began fighting Airen where she had previously been fighting him. She was so shocked she watched Charlotte's and his entire exchange in a frozen state.

Pxyis decided not to talk, instead watched the emotion play out in Airen's eyes when Humphrey turned from insulting to Charlotte to out-right flirting with her, and she felt a surge of pity for Airen at the sadness in his eyes. She could see it now, he was either crushing or had feelings deeper than that for Charlotte, and so when he left she frowned at Humphrey.

Pxyis was also exceptionally shocked when Charlotte placed her hand on top of Humphrey's. How could she not notice Airen's obvious feelings for her? Pxyis was confused and she coughed loudly to announce her presence. "Excuse me, but, you don't just barge in here, attack Airen when I was in the middle of a lesson and then ask Charlotte out!" Pxyis was seething, she could feel the burn of anger in her stomach as sparks of fire crackled from her fingertips, and she had to take several moment of deep breathing to calm herself down and stop herself from engulfing Humphrey in flames.

{OOC: Humphrey, I kind of already claimed Fire Element so I would appreciate it if you didn't use it in RP that you had Fire Element. Cheers Very Happy }

Forging of Blades (Invite only) Empty Re: Forging of Blades (Invite only)

Post by Charlotte Smith Sat Jan 21, 2012 7:07 pm

Charlotte blinked and opened her mouth a little as she was asked on a date, she felt odd, it didn't feel good, at the moment she was more worried about Airen but she didn't want to upset Humphrey at all, so she didn't really know what to do.

Squeaking a little she moved her hand and hoped that he hadn't thought that she was flirting by doing so, she had just meant to comfort him.

"Uhm...uhm....might I perhaps think about it I'm not really thinking straight right now and I need to have a proper think before I do anything that might hurt anyone."

Charlotte clutched at her hair confused and decided now was time for bed.

"I'm going to head to bed, hopefully my silly brain will sort itself out when I sleep on everything that's happened today. Which is a lot."

Picking up her bag Charlotte hurried out of the room and hoped that Pyxis wouldn't roast Humphrey alive.

Pxyis smirked as Charlotte let Humphrey down with the classic 'I have to think about it' and had to hold back her laughter. She wasn't feeling pity for this Gryffindor boy right now, she was amd at him for disrupting the lesson, upsetting Airen and insulting Slytherin's. She didn't care if he had apologized, she was one to hold grudges.

"And what possessed you to jump into the fight when Airen was trying to train me? We were having quite a peaceful lesson! Then you just barged in here and instead of being a gentleman you joined in! You were not meant to be here!" Pxyis tone had escalated from cold to angered. "You've upset Airen, and you've upset Charlotte, and by further extent, myself! Charlotte is my best friend here, and we were all having a great time until you barged in!" Pxyis folded her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow challengingly. "What do you have to say for yourself?" She snarled.

{OOC: I plan on roasting him alive, sorry Char! Razz }
