She smiled even brighter at the girl, for she had the same sense of humor as she did. It was great and she relaxed a little more.

Why do I get along best with Gryffindors? she thought.

Nonetheless when the girl complimented her dress she she looked down and flushed at the compliment, no being used to it.

"Thank you" she said " Oh you picked up on my accent? I was born in America" she commented " How rude of me, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Tess pleasure to meet you!"

Salina and Leshia headed over to where Pxyis just to make sure the peace was kept.

The music died down and Victoria couldn't help but laugh. "Thanks for the dance, Humphrey. I haven't done that in a while. I'm gonna go sit down. Talk to you latter." She waved goodbye to him and grabbed some food before moving back to the table.

"Sorry about that. I don't get many chances to dance. Tess was it? I like that. I'm from America too. How'd you end up all the way over here?" She was thankful to see they had cheesecake for dessert. And it seemed like the drama had alleviated a little while she had been dancing.

Humphrey walked back to the table. Who hadn't he danced with yet. Tess McCartney. He had met her in the library the other day and offered to help her with Transfiguration. "Hey, Tess! Want to dance?" he asked her. Just then his favorite song came on. 'What You Know' by the Irish group the Two Door Cinema Club. The guitar riff put a spring in his step. Such a great dance song and wonderful music video. Such a unique style to the band, the song, and the video for the song. He absolutely loved it. "Come on! I refuse to take no for an answer. You can talk to Victoria later. You can only dance at an end of year Ball once a year." he said, offering his hand and pulling her up with him.

Not thinking about it, Parker had let out a small sigh of relief, when Corrine had said she'd actually seen the error of her ways. He was glad not to have to deal with any confrontation with her at least. He wondered how she came around and supposed that when surrounded my those with such different ideal you begin to see things in a new perspective.

He thought to himself as Tabi seemed to be doing so as well. He still didn't get why they had been taught such things to being with. He'd heard a bit about the whole blood purity thing, and he'd even had it compared to racism in the muggle world.Even that he didn't fully understand. But it was still so worrying that such harsh judgement and hatred were held and forced upon kids.

Then Tabi mentioned the whole disowning thing and he looked up at her. He really didn't even know what to say to that. Fear was a powerful driver.

When Pxyis had approached, Parker looked a bit bothered and contemplative. "Er... hello Corinne.... Tabi..." When he heard her she sat down, he smiled at her, he was glad she didn't seem upset with him after all, though he noticed how extremely uncomfortable she seemed sitting there and actually talking to them. He smiled as he took the last bite of food from his plate, hoping this would all go smoothly, because apparently these girls had changed from the beginning of the year, and now was the time to fix it.

He looked up to see Leshia and another girl walk up, he was beginning to feel a bit crowded again with all the people, but sat and beared it for Pxyis.

Pxyis frowned when Leshia and Salina walked over, for though she wasn't bothered by crowds she knew that Parker was and this would be way too many people for him. Pxyis smiled at Salina and Leshia, almost smirking at the idea in her head. "Hey guys. Well, i've rested up so Parker and I are going to dance!" Pxyis exclaimed to them.

She stood up and didn't give Parker time to protest, for she had grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the dance floor and away from the group. Once she had dragged him across the floor so they were blocked from the view of the others by a group of dancing students, she released his hand and folded her arms over her chest, fixing him with a stern gaze. She may not be mad at him- but she did still feel a tad bit betrayed. That and she wanted to have some fun with him.

"So, Parky dear, care to explain?" She asked in her most venomous tone.

When Pxyis declared they were going to dance he felt his face drop. No, no, no. She would not make him dance- as he opened his mouth to protest, she dragged him away and past a group of dancing students. He was about to protest again when they stopped and she turned giving him a hard look. He instantly became worried. Perhaps she was mad.

"So, Parky dear, care to explain?" The way she said it nearly made him want to flinch back. It was nearly scary how at the flip of a switch she could completely change. He wanted to look down or away, but he held his gaze at her.

"I didn't know. That girl- Corrine, well Tabi too- I heard you warn me about them and I knew you don't quite get along with them, but I didn't know how badly you dislike them or why exactly. I...sort of asked them why. I know I shouldn't have, it's not really any of my business-" He let out a breath, looking down then. He really didn't want her to be mad with him. Plus, the girls had apparently changed and maybe things between them could be better for their second year.

She blushed seeing that Humphrey had moved from Victoria towards her. She didn't feel comfortable with dancing this kind of music. Growing up with her mother, while she was born English, she was Spanish at heart and she only knew how to dance Spanish music.

Still, not wanting to be rude, she looked back at Victoria and smiled.

"I'll answer that in a second, seems that it's my turn for a dance?" she murmured.

She tentatively took Humphrey's hand and got up, thinking that she needed to live a little.

Pxyis watched with a hard and icy glare as he stumbled over his words trying to explain himself. When he looked down, she laughed softly and pulled him into a tight hug. "Your so cute, Parker," she told him as she giggled. "It's alright Parker, im not mad. I mean- I was, well, not really. I was just upset- they were both mean to me," she felt like a pouting child, so she stepped back and blushed.

"I mean- they insulted my friend's who are muggles that's all." Pxyis explained gently, patting him on the shoulder. "I am still a little upset, I kind of thought as my friend that you would- don't worry," she sighed and looked down at her feet. "I know how you can make it up to me, it's just a little thing. Then I won't care at all," Pxyis bit her lip as she looked up at him through her eyelashes.

When she pulled him into a hug and switched out of that cold, distant side of her, he let out a sigh of relief. "I understand, they were wrong to say those things, and I don't know who they were before, but I think they changed."

"I- I even told them they were wrong, and that girl, Corrine, she agreed." He smiled at her for a moment then let it fall a bit. Was he being to hopeful, maybe too trusting even? At the start of the year, he'd not even consider it, though he assumed girls would work differently then the boys back home. He had really hoped the people here were different.

"I'm sorry it upset you, I didn't mean for that to happen, it just did." He smiled a little as she looked at him, saying there's a way he could make it up. "If it's to dance with you, I think i could handle you being upset with me a little longer," he half-joked. He really, really just wanted to sit back down. He didn't know how to first of all, second of all people would be looking at them, and no, just no. But, if that's what she wanted he didn't want her to be upset with him, for something he should have known better about.

"It's fine Parker, I get it. Don't worry, im not mad at you." Pxyis said when he continued talking and she grinned when he said dancing. "It's not dancing, don't worry," Pxyis giggled lightly. "It's something else... but don't worry about it, im fine now!" Pxyis then grinned in a cheeky way as she grabbed both of his hands.

"Although, dancing is a good idea. Alright, you're going to dance with me, and if you don't i'll hex you," Pxyis added with an evil smirk. She twirled him under her arm and giggled lightly, dropping his hands as she doubled over in laughter. "Oh merlin's saggy pants!" She choked out through her laughter.

"Nevermind, let's not dance."

He should have known better then to actually say it, and knew it wasn't good whenever she grinned like that after grabbing his hands and threatening to hex him. When she had turned him under her arm he felt his face heat up, embarrassed. When she let go and started laughing he smiled and let out a small laugh too, his face probably still red.

"Nevermind, let's not dance." "Good idea," he said as he ran a hand through his hair, looking down at the the feet of other nearby people, noticing her shoes were off, smiling at that. He looked back up. "So what was it then? If not dreadful dancing?"

"Heck yeah! That is the attitude I like to hear. Don't worry about the dance moves, I will make you look good. That is the guy's job, show off the girl he is dancing with. I have gotten decent at it I think. And since you look very pretty in that white dress you make my job a lot easier. Relax, and let your hips start swinging to the beat and your feet take you places. Follow my lead, Tess." he instructed her. He began with a two-step and then slowly switched it to a very basic form of swing. She picked up on it immediately and began to enjoy herself. Soon she was a blur on the dance floor, and he was shocked because she did not really seem to have danced before like that. It was a natural talent.

"Wow, you're a natural. You should really think about taking dance lessons. You are almost better than me already!" he yelled as they did a spin."Enjoying yourself?" he smiled at her as he said it.

Charlotte couldn't help but giggle and she nodded her head, she would love to dance with Airen and it seemed as if he liked the song that they would be dancing to, it was a nice song from what she had heard of it so far and she took Airen's hand.

"I would very much like to dance Air."

Placing her other hand on his shoulder she grinned and thought to have a bit of fun she would lead the dance for the start, so Charlotte moved them sidewards and dipped their arms down at the same time before stopping and twirling herself under his arm.

Then she stopped and flushed.

"Yeah, I just found out that I cannot dance so you best lead, you're better at dancing than me, have you had lessons or something?" Charlotte asked, her hand squidging his shoulder slightly.

After his dance with Tess he walked back to the table."Do you mind if we talk a little bit?" He walked over to her and said quietly. "I've been thinking about the advice you gave me, and I wanted to discuss it with you. I've had an idea about what you said. It is brilliance, at least, I think it is..." he trailed off. He hoped he could talk to Haley Smith, she was really nice and wise.

To say, she was dizzy, well that would be minimizing the whole ordeal. She decided that perhaps she preferred dancing to Latin music, or the waltz and definitely not this type of music. She thanked him quietly, ignoring the compliments, for the made her uncomfortable and took her seat next to Victoria once more.

"Well...wasn't that an experience" she breathed out as she flattened her hair and tried to recompose herself trying to get her flushed expression of exhaustion back to normal.

"What was it that you asked me Victoria?" she asked smiling.

"So...I bet you are wondering what the hell just happened out there, huh?" he asked her.

Pxyis shook her head and denied his request when Parker asked her what it was that she had wanted. "You don't want to know," she giggled as the evil thought flashed through her mind again - but it was so cruel she couldn't do it to him.

"Aren't you going to thank me?" Pxyis sounded hurt as she pouted at him, giving him her best wounded puppy look. "I saved you from being suffocated by large amounts of people," Pxyis smiled at him.

She was having a great night now that Char and Airen had made up - and Humphrey seemed to be content dancing with every girl possible. She was hanging out with her best friend, and to be honest she didn't care that there was a bunch of girls she could talk to, she was quite content hanging out with Parker. "You're much more fun than girls, except for Char of course. Char's not like a normal girl, she's fun. But anyway, you're fun." Pxyis beamed a him, feeling her body sway lightly to the music.

"You can't hate dancing that much, Parker," Pxyis suddenly whined, so she grabbed him by the shoulders and made him sway with her. "Much better," she mumbled to herself, still forcing him to sway. She sighed in contentment and hummed along with the music. She knew this song- where from? She had no clue.

Haley smiled to Humphrey before he left to find Keiba.

"Yeah, I'll talk to you later," she said calmly.

She then looked at the girls sitting around the table, meaning Tabi, Corinne, Leisha and Salina. she felt like she had nothing to do there, being surrounded by sisters that had family problems they had to deal with themselves.

Haley excused herself and left to the girls lavatory. She was pretty tired.

"What's everyone's problem? Why can't we just talk to our friends and eat some food without...all of this happening? So stupid..."

She thought about what Parker had said. He was so right. Why did everything have to happen on the final day of the first year. Seriously, even though there would be new chances. But what really annoyed Haley was how she managed to get herself into this business. She wanted nothing to do with it. Why on earth did she have to be like that? Honestly. Maybe she was kind. The problem was: she was too kind. She had no idea how many times her mother had been worried about her for not caring about her own feelings but for other people. She always had to fix people.

Haley sighed and leaned against the sink.

Airen smiled. He let her lead for a bit. She seemed unsure of herself. Her steps were hesitant. When she told him that he'd better lead because she can't dance, he smiled kindly. He twirled he under his arm again. This night was turning out to be much better than he first thought. He would've liked to have less drama, but he decided to forgive and forget. Forget being the bigger of the two.

"It's fine. You just need practice, and yes, I got lessons from my aunt. Let me tell you, It isn't easy at first, but it all it really is is practice," he replied. He dipped Charlotte down. Smiling, he brought her back up. As the song kept playing, he felt more peaceful than he had in a long time.

Charlotte smiled happily as she was lead in the dance by Airen, he was much better than she and actually seemed to know just what he was doing, where as she had no idea at all, giggling as she was spun under Airen's arm.

"I can imagine you trying to teach me to dance, it's using all my effort not to stand all over your feet at the minute, I apologize in advance if I do so..."

Kicking her leg up as she was dipped down Charlotte smiled happily gazing into Airen's eyes as they danced, they were really beautiful eyes.

"I like this song, do you know it? It's not often I can lose myself in music like this, or maybe it's the company."

Airen was a happy kid, he was dancing with his almost-girlfriend on a secluded balcony, with one of his favorite songs playing as the music. Life couldn't be better.

"Your just not used to dancing yet, I'll help you get used it," he promised softly. Airen met her gaze. He was mesmerized by her red eyes; they shone like rubies.

"This is my favorite song. It's by an American muggle. He's a Christian, and this song tells of his wanting to have the eyes of the Lord to see the people around him and to see their problems, so he can take them away," he said.

"I know what you mean. The company truly is captivating," he said blushing at the implied meaning.

He felt tired. The current setting was so peaceful that he could sleep in this position and not be uncomfortable. He stifled a yawn.

It was time.
Time for her fun to begin.

Raven grinned and she hopped on top of one of the stone posts surrounding the gates of Hogwarts, looking up at the large stone castle, behind her, her army, her army of Inferi that she had managed to conjour up, she had been practicing long and hard to get them to stay under her command.

With that she let out a loud whoop and joy and dashed towards the castle, jumping in large leaps and bounds from the entrance gate right up to the doors of the main hall, the black smoke staying behind her as she moved as only an adult wizard could.

Knocking lightly on the door, Raven knew that Briony had let the defenses down for her, because she still believed that Raven was on her side, but she would be wrong, and now, the defenses were going to crumble all around her.

Slowly Raven entered the entrance hall, the music coming from the Great Hall was soothing but she knew that soon there would be very different sounds coming from there, completing the spells the Doctor had taught her to dismantle the defenses for long enough to allow them all to enter Raven grinned, her army and her fellow professors behind her.

"Knock knock little piggies let me come in." she chuckled darkly, wand in one hand, razor in the other.

Entering the Great Hall Raven grinned, all the little students were here, oh how fun it would be to hunt them all down tonight, what great sport? What fun to add more body parts to her collection at home.

The moans of the inferi could be heard slightly over the music, about thirty of them were behind her, it was a lot of effort to keep them going, however, she knew that she could continue to do so for some amount of time.

"Briony, mia bella, mi amore! Here's your knight in shining armour come to take you away from your prison tower, oh, and maybe kill a few of your little students along the way, oh, and maybe a few of your friends, oh, and maybe your husband too. You wont mind will you?" she asked with a feral grin.

"Hello little kinders! I am The Sweeney. And tonight? You die!" she cackled.

Now The Doctor was not normally a violent man but he realised that today was a day to be violent. Today was a day to fight to the death. Walking in front behind Raven, The Doctor held a rune-covered walking stick in his left hand and his wand in the right. He glanced at Raven,

"Remember the plan." he told her firmly but only so she could hear him, "You take out the male Romain and I'll capture the headmistress."

The Doctor stepped forwards,

"Terrible that we have to meet under such circumstances Headmistress Romain!" he greeted his opponent before firing off several blasting curses at the ceiling, causing large chunks of rock to come crashing down amongst the guests, "But you are coming with us!"

He glanced at the professors and undead behind him and snarled, a very uncharacteristic gesture,

"Kill them all!" he turned back to Briony, "For the fatherland!"

Viktor burst through the wall, making a burning hole in the wall only a few feet away from the open doors. To be honest, Viktor never liked to open a door in an enemy building when there was a perfectly good wall to destroy. Fire sprang up from his wand tip but curled around his body is a flawless display of magical control. He looked over the students and the teachers in the hall until he spotted Charlotte Smith,

"You will die with your innocent view of life intact Charlotte... for you die tonight!"
