The 'Mysterious' Leg Itch
Parker really hadn't wanted to go to the Hospital wing for this. He really didn't want to get in trouble, for he had an idea of what caused the discomfort around his ankle. But the irritation and stinging was getting worse and he couldn't get around or concentrate very well. After some wrong turns, he found his way to the Hospital Wing, which shouldn't have been hard to find in the first place. He blamed it on his leg.
He cautiously walked in, looking around for the school nurse, taking a seat on a chair, to scratch and rub his ankle a bit as he waited. This was driving him mad.

Re: The 'Mysterious' Leg Itch
Lucia walked out from her office and stopped. "Mr. Emery," she said surprised.
Then she smiled. "What can I help you with?" she asked him softly.
Then she smiled. "What can I help you with?" she asked him softly.

He looking up as she walked in, smiling a little nervously, still scratching his ankle.
"I'm sorry to come in now, but my leg's hurting quite a bit for a while now. It won't stop stinging and itching..."

Lucia nodded as Mr. Emery told her about the itching. She walked over to him and knelled beside him. She softly reached for his ankle, pulling his foot to her.
"Hmm.." she said, frowning a bit. "Have you ever had such pains before?" she asked.
She thought she might know what it was, but she wanted to make sure if he had or hadn't had felt anything like it before.

Parker let her pull his foot towards her, biting his lip a bit when she asked if he ever had anything like it before.
"Erm, well, no, I haven't. I was poking around by the black lake...and erm- after I got back it started itching..." He had just been exploring a bit, but unwisely had been wallowing in the shallows.

Lucia smiled. "You got into the water, and was attacked by grindylows, weren't you?" she asked suspiciously, but didn't wait for an answer.
She rose and walked into her office, opening her cabinet. She found a cream and walked back to Mr. Emery.
"Here you go. Butter this on your ankle every night for three days. And while you're sleeping, make sure your foot is warm. Meaning sleep with some warm socks or a heater," Lucia said with a smile.
"And if it doesn't work, come back after three days," she said calmly and rose.

When she had made the assumption, he flustered, trying not to look surprised as she stood and then came back with a cream. He looked down at his lap and took the cream from her, standing up. "Thank you, Madam Henley..." He was glad she hadn't scolded him for being careless or anything of the sort.
When he tried to research about the creatures before he came here, he hadn't been able to find much, especially if they were actually poisonous or not, which was what caused him to come, because he didn't know. He looked up, his curiosity for the creatures not satiated yet. "So...they're poisonous? That's why it stings?"

"So...they're poisonous? That's why it stings?"
Lucia smiled. "Not quite. Well, I guess you could say they were poisonous. But the thing is that when a Grindylow touches your skin for the first time, your skin reacts to it. Grindylows are Xenomorphs. Meaning they're alien. Not like those from Mars and all, but your skin has never felt something like a Grindylow before. They're abnormal. Compare it to a dementor. A dementor is abnormal, yes, but though its skin is rotten and gore, it is still skin. Grindylows... Well I guess you could say that there is still no name for the 'skin' of a Grindylow," she explained to him.
"But should you get touched again by one, though I advice you not to,-" Here, Lucia smiled mischievously, "-then it won't affect you. And that is how quick and wonderful the human skin is," she concluded.

Parker listened curiously to Madam Henley's explanation. He wondered more about them, but his overall curosity was satiated.
"But should you get touched again by one, though I advice you not to,-" When she smiled at him, he looked away, feeling his face heat up "-then it won't affect you. He nodded again, looking up at her once again. "Thank you, I'll be sure not to go looking for anymore trouble..."

Lucia chuckled. "Good idea," she said, grinning at him.
Then she sighed. "Well, have a good day, Mr. Emery. I hope not to see you in three days," she said humorously.
She then walked to her office and looked back at him. "If anything else should bother you, be it physical or mental, don't hesitate to come to me. After all, that is what I am here for," she said with a big, happy smile.
She really liked it when students came and asked for her help in any matter. She loved helping them, but she would never reprimand them. She wasn't that kind of person. What was done, was done. And she would rather explain about what had happened than to snap at them for whatever they had done.

Re: The 'Mysterious' Leg Itch
He smiled back at her. "Same to you, Madam Henley.
"Thank you, Grindylows are pretty nasty I think, but I'm sure I'll be just fine." He was glad she was so nice, his only other experiences with doctors or nurses or whatever else weren't the most pleasant, and though he was weary at first, he was glad he came to find out she was so kind.
He began making his way to the exit, looking back. "I'll be sure to come back if I ever need anything else-", he said as he walked out and to the corridor once more.
