Cain had heard that there was going to be an attack on the school, of course he had heard it in the stars and as a result nobody would believe him apart from fellow centaurs, who wanted nothing to do with humanity at all.

Fuming with rage, he galloped off at full pelt and looked up at the now peaceful castle, he feared for all of the student's lives who were present, for children knew nothing of the violence and cruelty of this world, nor should they be subject to it.

Closing his eyes he rested his head on the trunk of a nearby tree, sighing softly he punched it once before straightening up, and turning slightly, he had thought he had heard something.
