Familiarity Empty Familiarity

Aiko entered the little pub and took in the whole atmosphere. Simple enough, she wore a red dress that ended at her knees (taken a tip from Juliet and took a more 'German' approach instead of a yukata) and a pair of black heels. Her hair was lying in curly ringlets down her back as she took in the place. It was dark and all she could smell was it . She balled up her fists as she felt a small pain as her fangs threatened to elongate. She closed her eyes and let out an almost pained groan escaped her. She gulped before rushing over to the bar.

"Sake, now." She murmured to the barmaid. They nodded but gave her a reluctant glance. She bit back a hiss before taking a seat. She buried her head in her crossed arms before they came back. Letting out a long sigh she chugged it back and her fangs shrunk back. She sighed peacefully and rolled her arms back.

Vierdos wondered why his mistress took him to a pub it was different for him. She had directed him to wear a long sleeve dress shirt and jeans he hated how he could not even decide what he would wear through out the day. She was just so controlling. When they arrived at the pub his mistress disappeared and he wondered why but shrugged it off.

He wandered around looking lost he had never been around so many humans and did not know what he wanted to do or what he should do he now knew that his mistress was testing his self control once again and he was furious she knew that he had a hard time controlling himself but she still felt the need to test him in difficult situations. Finally deciding to sit at the bar not caring who he sat beside he rested his head in his hands and began how he was going to get through this test.

Aiko felt another presence that felt similar to her own. She turned her head and herself to face the man sitting beside her. His blood though, smelt of another vampire's. Then the thought popped into her head; he had a sire. She smiled warmly at him.

"Hello. Aiko Mai." She lowered her voice and scooted in closer. "May I ask you a question?"

He barely heard the voice but it was female though it was not the voice of his mistress he straightened himself up and looked the female over he felt that she was another vampire. After a little bit he got what she was saying it was her name and she wanted to ask him a question.

"The name is Vierdos Ergo and ask away" He whispered for he was not sure who she was and what she wanted to ask him.

She tilted her head and looked around. Was someone watching them? She wondered silently. Imagination, she assured herself. Not enough blood to a hungry vampire makes a illustrative imagination.

"Is your sire here? Is it alright for you to be talking to me?" She whispered lower. Ai did come from a traditional vampire family rather than a more common source.

"No my mistress is not here at moment." He said quietly lately he did not hear her in his mind and that made him happy but right now he wished that he could hear her to get some direction as to what he was suppose do during this test. Feeling a pounding headache all of a sudden he reached for his head and leaned against the table. This is new did she find a new method to control him.

Aiko wasn't one for touchy feely but she gently laid a hand, soft and ready to back away at any moment, on his shoulder tilting her head to try and see if he was having trouble controlling himself like her.

"Are you ok Vierdos?" She asked.

Closing his eyes he focused himself again and then looked at her from the side. "Yeah I am just have a massive headache at the moment for some strange reason." He sighed and rested his head on his hand. Why did he have a headache was it just because he did not have anything to eat all day or was it something else he was still trying to figure it out.

Ai removed her hands slowly and nodded before taking a sip from her sake. She turned her head and looked at all the people having fun and dancing. Then at the door. The air outside seemed more quiet and less headache-inducing.

"Would you like to accompany me outside?" She lowered her voice again. "Or are you not allowed to?"

He looked at the door it did seem inviting his mistress never told him that he couldn't go outside. He did not even know what he was suppose to do here anyway. "Sure I will accompany you outside." He closed his eyes again and wished the headache would just go away.

Aiko nodded and lead him outside grasping his sleeve. She kept her brown eyes out defiantly searching for any alarming bright eyes. Eyes that some vampires might have had. Seeing none she checked the streets. Empty. Taking out her wand she pointed it to his head. Instead of the magic coming through her, her wand grew burning hot alarmingly fast. She dropped her wand and hissed pulling her away.

She blew on her hand and picked up her misplaced wand. She smiled sadly at him, still clutching her hand.

"Sorry, Vierdos. I wish I could help you..." She trailed off before another idea came to mind. "Do you know if there's anything I could do to help?"
