Background Information:

Born in Madrid Spain her family and her moved after her younger brother's birth to London, England. Where they got their citizenship thanks to her father for his discoveries and improvements on medical potions. Gabriela and her younger brother were mostly alone when they grew up, mostly surrounded by their house elves and in the summers they would spend their time in Madrid with their grandmother, who they loved very much. As every Covarrubias, she attended Hogwarts and was placed in Ravenclaw just like her father, grandfather, etc, etc. People tend to perceive her a very snobby, cold hearted person. Which in fact in a way she is. But she acts like this to hide her weakness that she is too innocent and naive about certain things.

She has the power of foreboding. Gabriela really doesn't like to talk about it, but she tends to make her own potions so she can control her "power" more like curse. This is also and explanation as to why she tends to be very reclusive.

After graduating from Hogwarts, her beloved grandmother passed away. Gabriela decided to moved to France, to get away from everything. She worked in the French Ministry for two years. While here she discovered: The Peruvian brasseries and the Slapping Snat Natts. She realized she wasn't happy with the work they were giving her, so she decided to work on her own. Discovering even more rare magical plants: Beffel Vatts, Nagga Sagga, and the poisonous Xasatar. She lived a couple of years in France when she met her husband. At first she was weary of him but eventually she began to trust and him and got married (she didn't take his last name) The couple decided to move to Brighton, England where they both got job offers: Gabriela from her father and Gaspard from St. Mungos. They mostly don't spend much time together as both are really busy but when they can they disappear from the world.

She is currently the Herbology Professor at Durmstrang Institute. At first she was not sure of taking the position due to the war, her temper, lack of patience to children and that she wasn't spending time with her husband. Thankfully her husband supported her every step in the way, reassuring her that she could transmit her knowledge to the future generation. She is still part of her father's enterprise in the summers. And in Christmas/Easter vacation she is back in Brighton with Gaspard.
