Background Information:

Born in France, he's the son of an old pureblood couple. Gaspard grew up surrounded by the inventions of charms and spells and countercurses due to his father's job in Gringotts. A Curse-Breaker. Due to his father's talent the Dupont's moved to Berlin, Germany when Gaspard was five. They only lived there about five years, consequently making Gaspard get accepted in Durmstrang, in the house of Geschick.

He was born with the power of Sniffer. Gaspard learn to live with this gift. Not only has it helped him as being a Curse-Breaker and a Healer, but as well in his position in the war.

After his graduation he quickly accepted a job offer in Salem for Gringotts as Curse-Breaker. He worked there for three years, he was unhappy with his job and decided to quit. He became a Healer and worked for two years in The Chichen Itza Hospital de Magia. Gaspard then got transferred to The Magique Santé Hôpital.

That's where he met his wife, Gabriela Covarrubias. She had been poisoned by a magical plant she had discovered recently: Haffaren Vannagan. He saved her life. Gaspard had been attracted to her since the moment they met. But at first she was weary of him, and slowly she began to trust him and got married. Although she didn't take his last name. Gabriela is the first person that he really loves and cares about. With her his walls come down

The couple decided to move to Brighton, England where they both got job offers: Gabriela from her father and Gaspard from St. Mungos. By marrying her and working in St. Mungos he got his British citizenship. They mostly don't spend much time together as both are really busy but when they can they disappear from the world.

He is currently the Occlumency Professor in Hogwarts and Head of House of Gryffindor. After seeing that his wife became a Professor in Durmstrang, he was offered the position at Hogwarts and he accepted. He is excellent and maybe the best at Occlumency, after all having a power like his is dangerous and too risky. It's his duty to teach the future generation about hiding some things from the war.

During the school year he lives in Hogwarts where it's full of people. In the summers, he works in St. Mungos and in Christmas/Easter vacation he is back in Brighton with Gabriela.
