They Had it Coming. (Haley and Sally) Empty They Had it Coming. (Haley and Sally)

Sally wandered amongst the gravestones, her wand stuck behind her ear and her fingers clasped over her stomach. She tread carefully, mist swirling about her boots. And as she made her way through she read random names off the tombstones. Eventually she came to a very recent tombstone, and a maniacal grin befell her features. The tombstone read:

Helle and Martin Smith
Beloved Parents of Haley
Faithful Partners to the very End
Loyal and Courageous couple, died in battle June 2012
Both will be missed sorely.

She cackled and kicked the tombstone of the couple she had murdered last holidays. They'd deserved it, the pair of lovey-dovey loyals made her sick to the stomach. They repulsed her, with their majestic heritage, and their beautiful daughter, and their riches and ancestral home. It just didn't seem fair that they stay alive.

And so she'd killed them. They'd just gotten on her nerve too much... yeah right, they totally died in battle. She'd killed them in their 'finest hour', just when they were racking up all the brownie points for the British Ministry. Sally hated them! They were just far too horrible crittures to be walking this earth.

They had it coming.

Haley was walking towards the graveyard with a flower bouqet in her hand. She was on her way to visit her parents' grave. She inhaled deeply. She didn't think she'd ever be okay thinking about where she was going. She walked past the gates into the graveyard and up a hill. She could see the hand of the angel located on their grave. There had been so many to condole her in their absence and given that Haley was a part of a royal family, the state had given her a gravestone so beautiful.

Haley then saw a person standing there. She tilted her head to the side and was about to say 'hey' when the person kicked the gravestone. Haley saw red. She didn't know what had happened before it did. The red roses fell to the ground and she had charged at the woman, forgetting she was a witch, and only knowing that she wanted to hurt the woman. She had latched herself to the woman's back and pulled in her long, messy hair.

"BITCH! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" she screamed at the woman, still holding on, knowing that if the woman made any effort to shake her off, it would be too easy.

Sally screeched as some kid flew at her, grasping hold of her hair. She ripped her tangles out of the girls' nails and pulled out her wand. She pressed it up against her throat. "How dare you touch me, you filthy little brat!" She drove the ginger child back into a statue, fury engulfing her thoughts. She pressed right up close, hot breath lapsing over the kid's pretty features.

"My, my, aren't you a pretty thing. What a shame. SECTUMSEMPRA!" she snarled. She watched as the girl's throat started gushing blood. Sally laughed, feeling an accomplishment as she writhed in pain. She removed the curse, and the blood stopped- but the cut was still there, open but no longer bleeding. She decided this girl deserved all she got.

"Crucio," Sally whispered, an evil tint crossing her hoarse voice. She cackled and grinned - not the sort of funny grin, this grin was murderous. "You deserve every bit your parents got, them and their disgusting notions! Loyalty is for filth!" Sally was beyond white-hot mad now. The nerve this thing had - it was just gut-wrenching. It made her want to puke.

Haley was thrown and pushed up against a sculpture. She didn't even have time to do anything before she felt her throat get cut. The pain was unbelievable. She had never felt anything like it. She could also feel warm blood gushing down her chest. She tried to reach for her throat, but she couldn't move. Then the blood stopped. She didn't know what was going on, but a most unexplainable feeling washed over her. It was like wind was whipping her neck and into her throat. Was the cut still open?!

"Crucio."

Haley's eyes opened in shock and horror as she heard the words. Then she was hit by the most excruciating pain. The gash in her throat had nothing on this. She wanted to scream, but she either couldn't or didn't dare, knowing that it was an open wound. But she writhed. She wanted to be gone.

"You deserve every bit your parents got, them and their disgusting notions! Loyalty is for filth!"

The pain couldn't be ignored, but Haley heard the words. She opened her shut eyes and looked up at the woman before her.

"You!" she managed.

The sound came out in a gurgling tone. But she didn't care. The woman before her was the woman who had killed her parents. Then the rest of what she had said penetrated Haley's mind. She clenched her fists, trying the best she could to get the hot pain away so she could see clearly.

"Loyalty ... is not ... for filth!" Haley hissed, some of the words coming out in high pitched squeals.

The sky was rumbling and Haley knew she could do it. Her hand reached the handle of her wand.

"Expelliarmus!" Haley shouted and in the distraction, she rolled away, the curse lifting.

Her head felt so light. She got twenty feet away and then pointed her wand at the woman.

"Who are you?!" she yelled, holding her throat with her left hand.

Sally growled. "Yes, me!" She snapped. "I'm proud of what I did - killed off two parasites the world never needed!" And she spat at the little brat, still writhing pathetically at the effects of the torture curse.

"Loyalty ... is not ... for filth!" the girl managed to cry out.

"You're just as bad as my son. My dirty, dirty son!" Sally screeched, kicking the girl on the ground. Thunder rolled in the distance, but Sally didn't care. She like storms, enjoyed them even. The tiniest movement caught Sally's eye - the girl was reaching for her wand, and before she could stop her, the girl had blasted her wand out of her hands.

Sally snarled and hissed in fury. The curse was lifting and then the kid was daring to ask who she was, from twenty feet away, pointing her wand at her.

"Sally Swandeth. Your new. Worst. Nightmare." Sally chided. "You better watch your back, kiddo, because believe me - I'm not finished with you just yet... and when I am... well, let's just say, you won't be around to be grateful for it."

That brat was gonna get it some day, you just wait.

Haley felt rage unlike anything swell up in her when the woman called her parents 'parasites'. "Fool," she said icily.

Then she raised an eyebrow. "You have a son? Who on earth would sleep with you?!" Haley bellowed.

She knew that was a childish attack and just plain stupid, but she didn't care. She was so furious. She didn't care what she said. She didn't care what the woman thought of it. She just knew it helped to shout insults at the woman.

"Well, Sally Swandeth! I look forward to that day! Even if you kill me, I shall return and drag you with me to the deep parts of Hell, even if I can never leave! YOU SHALL DIE!" Haley shrieked.

She then crouched to the ground, holding her arms around her knees and her head between them, only letting her boots touch the ground. Then the sky thundered and lightning struck down on the entire graveyard, not on herself, of course. But she was knocked off balance, but the light slashing the sky was all she needed. She got to her feet and started running away, turning into the eagle and flying away.

"Who on earth would sleep with me? Ha! You're so funny," Sally cackled. Then she was serious, and kicked dirt into the girl's face. "Brat."

Sally heard the sincerity in the girl's voice as she vowed to drag her down to the depths of hell with her. "I'd like to see you try," she growled. Just at that instant, an ear-splitting crack of thunder rumbled overhead. Seconds later, a bolt of lightning struck the ground so close to Sally that the ends of her curls got singed off. She screamed and stumbled backwards at the sheer force of electricity emanating from the strike.

It wasn't long before the entire graveyard was alight with fire. The girl scrambled to her feet and ran off, transforming into an eagle like the little coward she was. "Mark my words," Sally breathed as she pulled out her wand.

With a sharp Pop, Sally disapperated back to her Villa in Cologne, and the graveyard was left silent once more.
