Salina could remember the first day she had been taken to this place for Homeless Children and Orphans. She had climbed off of the Hogwart's Express, fully expecting to follow after Leshia and return home with her for the summer. After all, Lesh had said that was fine. But, Salina had forgotten that she had owled the ministry about her predicament. Salina's fist clenched as she remembered the horror on her face as ministry officials forcibly took her back to muggle London, and they placed her in a muggle Orphanage.

She could remember indignantly asking why she was being surrounded by muggle's, and they said it was because at Wizarding orphanage's and homeless children shelters, children had been able to break the law and mess around with their magic. A grumble left her lips as Mrs. Krone stuck her head into Salina's room and the old woman's eyes narrowed in on the messy floor. "You'll have to clean that up later," Mrs. Krone snapped at her, and Salina rolled her eyes but nodded her head. "For now, it's dinner." And then the old woman had disappeared to inform the other children of dinner.

Salina rose from her bed and pulled her clothes into a messy pile. She drew them up into her arms and stuffed them into her closet, slamming it shut before they could all topple out and onto her floor. A smile appeared on her face, but it faded quickly as she turned and made her way down the halls. The other children laughed happily and chattered as they dashed for the dining hall, jostling Salina about. One rather rude boy pushed her into the wall, and his friend laughed as they walked away.

Salina remained on the floor as the rest of them all walked by her, and she wrapped her arms around her legs, her knees drawn up to her chest. She buried her face in her knees and sobbed quietly, her body shaking. She wished she could go back home and be greeted by Jaqui and Corinne - but this wish could never come true. Her parents would never accept her back into their family, and Corinne was in a coma. She could only wait with baited breath for school to return, and then she could escape this place and see all of her friends.
